Where To Purchase New Feed

I have a Chinese pen for which I have snapped the feed into two pieces. The diameter of the feed is 5.45 to 5.5 mm. I can find some feeds with diameter of 5 to 5.1 mm or in the 6 mm range, but I can't find a supplier of feeds of this in-between size.

A general question:

Does anyone know of a supplier of pre-made feeds in plastic or ebonite of varied / many sizes?

Many thanks,

Brandon

These people sell plastic feeds in the two standard sizes. They are also double cut, so they have good flow.

Cheap, I ordered a dozen of each size. Occasionally come in useful. They will fit most of the german (Jowo/Boch) nib/feed combinations.

The only ebonite feeds I've seen for sale are Noodlers. No idea exactly what size. You can find these at places like Anderson or Goulet.

None of these are very expensive, so you could try one and see if you could make it work.

For your pen - if its a non-standard size you may have some difficulty. You may need to take a larger feed and sand it down. Most of the Chinese "open nib" pens seem to use a standard size. If it's a hooded pen you may need to find a matching one and sacrifice it for the part.

On ebay I found feeds of chinese pens, at very low price, similar to the first at first link here above.

Frw dollars for 6 pieces.

Thanks for the replies so far, but the ones on FPR are not the right size. Nor are the others linked to here. This pen does not have one of the 2 standard sizes, thus why I was posting here.

From my original post: I can find some feeds with diameter of 5 to 5.1 mm or in the 6 mm range, but I can't find a supplier of feeds of this in-between size.

I need a feed with diameter of ~5.5 mm. The ones on FPR are 4.7mm, 5.1mm, or 6.3mm. I guess I'll just have to try to find one I can sand down to my necessary needs.

If anyone else knows of a feed supplier with more size options, please let me know.

Thanks.

Most, yes -- but not all. Thus the reason for my post. This is not a standard Chinese feed size. It's in between the 5.1mm and 6.3mm sizes. The diameter is 5.45 to 5.5mm ...so I'll probably just have to sand down a 6.3mm feed to see if I can get it working. Thanks.
