Inky T O D - How Often Do You Use "free" Pens?

OK, the free fountain pens did not come from a business meeting or such. Just like a lot of others here, when a friend finds a fountain pen in a junk drawer, it usually comes my way - for free. They range from a cheapie A & W to an early Duofold. (they can keep the Esterbrooks)

You know what, I remember now Kevin sending me a free fp of some kind from FPR when I bought something from him. But it was not impressive (leaked and didn't write), and I don't even know where it is. I probably threw it out.

Hi,

Not for yours truly.

I prefer writing implements that are reliable and to my taste. And I do not care to advertise on behalf of a Co. that I'm not a stakeholder.

Perhaps if I were to be offered one compatible with a Fisher Space Pen refill and bore the name/logo for a non-work product I could endorse (e.g. Victoria's Secret), then I'd go for it.

That said, some older FPs I have are engraved with a Co. name, but those Co.s are long gone.

Bye,

Okay, I still use my bullet space pen stamped with On Air - the first web hosting company in Las Vegas - oh and the owner is the father of my children.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

My free pens are those I give to people who need a pen and didn't bother to carry one. Only about 4 people who work with me know how to use a fountain pen.

LOL, send me the Esties. I give them out to my interns. We must recruit the youth.

OK, I'll send my next one to you, but you really must hate your interns.
