Nibmeister In The Uk?

I remember reading about folks sending a pen to have the nib ground....I think there was someone in Edinburgh, but anywhere in UK is great : recommendations?

 

I have a couple of pens which need attention:

- a Mont Blanc Monte Rosa which has a nib so scratchy as to be unusable

- an Omas piston filler which I took apart(I should not have done that....an old habit of taking things apart, but then not being able to get them back Together)and which I now can't reassemble.

I would be tempted to send your Omas back to Omas to have it reassembled. That's probably not something a nibmeister would do.

Thanks....it was such a stupid thing to do, I know.....and I've just noticed a typo in my original post which said I'd be grateful for ant help. I know it's said that fools laugh at their own jokes, but I do love that.....visions of fountain pens being brought to me carried by armies of ants....

 

Any help, of course was what I intended......

john sorowka based in England is the one I use for nib work. repaired/restored 4 pens for me now, and all 4 are fantastic writers

 

Great service and well priced, can't fault his work.

Eric Wilson is based in Edinburgh. I wouldn't call him a nibmeister but he is an excellent restorer and can probably sort out your pens.
