Whenever I order a fountain pen online, a sense of excitement runs inside me continuously and doesn't stop until it's delivered. But the most exciting part comes after that - unwrapping it and catching the first glimpse of the pen.When I booked it, I merely knew the image which was displayed on the website. I have no idea about how it looks physically,how it should feel after touching it, and finally after inking how does it feel when the first word is written and how does the pen react !!!
Three things may happen:
1. It may reverse with your every idea and your anticipation you have gathered from the pictures and after reading a few lines about it;
2. May be it will give you good judgement to your ideas and expectations;
3. Or it may be so fantastic when you realized that it exceeds your wildest expectations and it makes you fall in love with it...and will become your 'True Companion' for the forcible future. This has happened with - ASA "I Can", one can't but be impressed with the handsome appearance,look,feel of this splendid production from 'ASA'.
I would like to thank Mr.Subramaniam making this experiance possible for me.

I've been looking for a single Indian pen. Cannot really afford more than one (that's the small and insignificant downside of giving stuff away on PIFs) and it's hard to know what to choose. This is pretty good contender though. The handwriting is great, but more than that it looks human, if you see what I mean.

Thanks Vaibhav..I love your handwriting too..always tell my son to copy yours..believe me.

Nice photography and excellent handwriting.

Perhaps the best handwriting I have seen are from Bengalis and Keralites who studied in Malayalam medium in their initial days. The curvy letters of Bangla and Malayalam may be responsible for this. I am from Kerala but started my writing in English in school and did not form those beautiful curves. Sad...

Very nice hand and photos.

I have the "I will" version, in green black rippled with a B nib.

A very balanced pen and a pleasure to write with.

Since I am a new comer. I haven't heard about 'I Will' .Does it look similar with 'I Can'?

I love the I Can design and would also would like to learn about the 'I Will' version. Someone recently posted that it is the I Can with cartridge/converter adaptation.

I Will is the 3-1 version of I Can. The I will is adapted to take a JoWo#6 nib unit. It can be used as a ED, Cartridge filling (Standard International) and converter filling.

What's the line width like on the Bock medium nibs? I am seriously looking at this pen, but unsure about stock fine or Bock medium. In general I do not write with medium or broad nibs unless they are italics or stubs.

For my limited budget I never have installed Bock nibs, the stock nib provided by ASA writes very well and preferebly it writes between medium and fine . I think you should directly have a talk with Mr.Subramaniam of ASA pen ,the most generous man I have ever known. He would surely help you all the way and fulfill your needs.
