My Nauka ED with a 35mm Ambitious nib arrived today. It is clipless and the cap is one piece which I find clean and appealing. My name is engraved in a script font on the cap on the side opposite from the branding.

 

I'd call the color of the pen teal, which leads me to think I'll ink it with Noodler's Air Corps Blue Black. I think that will be a good fit.

The joy I feel in having such a beautiful pen with their names upon the cap...I cannot properly express at this time. Its really quite a stunning pen and perhaps the most original pen I own. And also to ask you about the "Fully transparent demo" and "Iced demo" versions of the Nauka (I have seen some pictures on the FPN): can I order them already, or will they become available any time soon?

I am considering instead the Gama Jumbo Acrylic Clear Demostrator you also offer. In this case, what is exactly the provided nib, the Ambitious 30mm, 35mm? Can I order this pen with the biggest Ambitious nib (45mm)? Please specify so I can make up my mind with reliable criteria.

Thank you Jay. The camera of my tablet did not do justice to the pen. The real pen is so much nicer as you can see the various thin and thick lines of the ripple pattern. Even my wife thinks that my new pen is very beautiful.

Writes a fine wet smooth line without any signs of burping or starting issues identified in my first few days of use. The clipless version of the clear demonstrator indeed is a treat for most of us. My Nauka is just arrived in perfect condition. The pen is very well built, and I like very much its design, I will try to post a review between some days. A special mention to the Click piston filler, it is a very nice little pen with a great price.

An update and appeal.

 

All the Nauka first and second phase orders are now processed and most of it shipped. Only a few are yet to ship.

 

But all the pens are completed and are kept ready to ship.

 

However, we in Chennai-India, have been battered by record-breaking rainfall that continues to pound the city. We have had incessant, rains since last week and from this Monday its become very terrible. Most of the areas are submerged in thigh deep water or more.

This deluge has effected electricity supply, mobile connectivity and also internet connectivity across Chennai.

We are having literally no or very limited connectivity and that too in spurts.

 

I will ship the pens as​ soon as the floods recede as all logistics are also effected. My understanding is that this may take next 4-5 days from relevant authorities.

Also, there may be no replies or delayed replies, by me to queries or posts here, till this situation is overcome. Our prayers are on for all here and request your support and understanding on this.​
