Really nice, I really like the contrast between the old bamboo and the 21 K sailor nib. I bet it is a nice sort of surprise every time you open it. Good Job.

I really like these Susutake pens you have made, Jeldan. Congratulations on your beautiful attempts. They are both superbe, but I prefer this section.

Thank you Joseph and fountainpagan, this one is also a delight to write with, I have finished polishing her (just using a cloth and the natural tendency of bamboo to gloss) and entered her into service. The combination with Sailor 21K is amazing IMHO.

I love it, and you are correct it looks amazing with the bamboo gloss and gold nib.

Would this work with different colours of bamboo or are they all similar once stripped of bark?
