Messenger FP in mid blue with med gold plated nib. This pen was originally sold by WH Smith a UK chain of stationery suppliers. I'm not sure who actually made them, or where they were made, but it's not a bad pen for a modest price even when new.

I also picked a pen up in the street today, see "Rialto Find" post.

M605 with Binder 0.5mm Cursive Italic :D

Rapt, could you please provide us w/ a writing sample? I know it's a vastly different pen, but I'm planning on ordering a Binder CI nib unit for my VP, but I'm not sure what size I'd want. I don't think a .9mm, but probably a .7mm, unless the .5mm provides enough line variation.

CURRENT STABLE:

MB Boheme / Platinum Hammered Sterling Silver / Pelikan M800 (clear demo) / Stipula Da Vinci / Visconti Opera Master / Delta Dolcevita Federico Oversize / Franklin-Cristoph 19 / Franklin-Christoph Model 25 w/ Masuyama nib

I got a Eversharp skyliner in grey in today, cleaned it up and put ink in it. It is my first usable vintage pen and it really writes well! chuck cochran

I just received my first custom nib pen from Pendemonium. A cursive italic Phileas. I also have a stub on order from Richard Binder for my VP's. Could be interesting. I inked the Phileas. It has a "medium" nib. It's a little thick a line for me, but it is really fun to write with anyway. I'm looking forward to my stub from Richard. I may have to get a couple of VP nibs in fine cursive italic. I really like my VP's and I think it will be fun to explore more writing options with them. :D

Kiavonne, I got a blue one with a .9mm cursive italic in blue from pendemonium. A bit tight on flow, but it sure leaves a nice line!

:cloud9: My Delta LE Peace FP DID arrive today. It is everything I'd hoped for and more. It was created to honor what I so passionately believe in. In other words, for me it's not just the pen, it's what it represents. :cloud9:

I bought a modern Sheaffer Crest in Nova Blue with an 18k gold Triumph nib from Dromgoole's in Houston. The pen is now filled with Sheaffer Skrip Blue and it is writing VERY smoothly for a fine nib--what a nice pen.

I just wanted to start a poll showing the new pens people get every day!

Have Fun!

I just got my first Nakaya (I had 2 on order) this Sunday (didn't know they even delivered on Sunday). Chicako from Nakaya knew that yesterday was my birthday (#55) and said she was going to try and get it here for that day. She missed by one day, but that was almost better. It gave me all Sunday to ooh and ahh over the pen.

The second one I ordered is an Aka-Tamanura Decapod, which is a little bit fancier, but the one I received today is a black Piccolo, with my family name in red Kanji on the side.

It ia a fine soft and flexible nib. I was worried that it might be a little too flexible for me, but I really can't even tell that it is that flexible. It is tiny bit on the fine side for me, but I was amazed that it wrote at the first touch to paper (unless you tell them otherwise, they will put a cartridge in, test it, and then leave the cartridge in during shipping.

I don't know what to say, other than it is a perfect little pen, with so much detail in the way it was built, that I had to tell my kids so they wouldnt think it was made out of plastic (even the Kanji looks like it is molded in to the body it is so perfect).

I am hooked. I'm guessing that there will be at least a 3rd Nakaya pen in my future.
