Not so much a pen as a pencil, but I'm excited enough about it I thought I'd share! Just bought one of these on eBay. The Staedtler 925 25 is a normal-enough drafting pencil aside from one thing: it's available in different lead sizes all the way up to 2mm! I love 2mm for sketching, but I REALLY dislike most 2mm leadholders, so hopefully this will solve that problem. (Detailed info at Leadholder). I already have a couple like this in thinner lead sizes and like them, so it should fit neatly into my collection.

It'll be here in a week or two. Can't wait to use it! Now I just need to find a lead pointer I actually like...

Got a Faber-Castell E-Motion with a fine nib. I love the look and feel of the wood :)

I'm a little late on this because I got these earlier this week.

I got an Anthracite Pelikan m200 with a Fine nib and an Amber Pelikan m250 with a Medium nib. These colored demonstrators are probably my favorite Pelikans ever, and the amber and anthracite are my two favorite colors. So, I'm very pleased to receive these two pens. In fact, the anthracite m200 was my first nice fountain pen, so I'm happy to reintroduce it into my collection.

Party's not over because I've got a blue m605 coming next week.

Hmmmmm....is it you I've been bidding against on Fleabay???

:crybaby:

I REALLY, REALLY want a Dunkel Blau M805 (the solid blue, not the striped), but cannot (currently!) afford the full price and no-one's got one on the 'Bay yet.

After a longish dry spell I got a cedar 51 Vac yesterday. Although the nib is supposed to be a fine it writes more like a medium, which is excellent. The pen is in really nice condition.

A very pretty striped Waterman's W5, via an ebay seller whose listing showed and described the pen as having a W5 nib and as having been overhauled and in proper working condition. The pen I received, however, has a W3 nib and is not at all in proper working condition (the feed is obviously blocked, resulting in an ink-free nib every few words). Hmph.

By contrast, a couple of days ago I received a Waterman's 54 from a seller at pentrace (he may have listed it here, too) which, in every way that matters, as near perfect as makes no difference....

Waiting on a black Pelikan M200 from Todd Nussbaum :). Hooray for 65 dollars!

Oh and I'm still waiting on a Sheaffer Statesman Touchdown. Seller isn't responding to my emails... :hmm1:

Boyfriend's new Duragraph just came - Tobacco Brown. What a gorgeous pen. Big! He was scared to pop the converter on himself so he made me do it.

He's fiddling now. I'm looking across the desk, being jealous.

I just got my Taccia Andante Fossilized Wood, Fine.

Absolutely gorgeous pen. Do not know what I think about the piston yet (except that it is very smooth). It seems to write very nicely so far...although I have only written a few short notes in a moleskine (and t is not feathering/bleeding)

I got my Jinhao in the mail. It was a #250 instead of an x450 as I originally suspected, but still a very nice pen.

I also got a Waterman Kultur demonstrator (blue) from a friend of mine.

Then a won an auction on another Jinhao. The wooden "dragon's descendant," with a dragon etching on the side. So that should be here in a couple of weeks. I am also currently winning an auction on a Sheaffer Snorkel, but I doubt that will last.

I am officially cutting myself off. If I have the irresistible desire to spend some money on an inexpensive fp, I am going to put that money in an envelope until I accumulate enough to get one of the higher-end pens I have been wanting.

After some searching - I found and just received a Lamy 2000 EF. I have to admit that my first impression is quite favorable, despite a bit of initial tweaking (tines were a tad misaligned and I may still have to lubricate the piston - it was not really stiff, but not really smooth either). It is an interesting pen and design - the makrolon is unlike anything I've used. It is roughly the same size as my personal standard - a "51" flighter - a tad wider at the widest but the 2000 has more taper. I very much like the clip and the much discussed cap clutch pins do not bother my hand. The EF nib is, as touted, a bit wide for an EF and is clearly broader than my Pilot Murex F. It has a nice, even flow with Waterman Florida Blue - perhaps a 6 on a scale of 10. Not the wettest nib I've used but far from the driest. After a bit of adjusting the nib is very nice - not quite as smooth as my flighter or my 75 (which are both like glass) but still a nice daily writer.

Newness breeds fascination so we'll have to see how it fares over some months of use.

A pen a day keeps the doctor away...

Waterman Preface in Escapist Green. I found out this particular model is discontinued already. It's still available here brand-new in Manila shops.

Taccia Staccato - Honey Bee color - M nib!

Wow this is a big pen - bigger than my Pelikan M805!

Very smooth writer, right out of the box. I'm very impressed ... now to get some nice golden brown ink for it ....

Sailor Professional Gear, rhodium trim, EF nib. It's wonderfully wonderful. I'm expecting its little little little sibling (Sapporo Mini) on Friday. :D

A Lamy 2000, with a matching pencil I picked up cheaply on ebay (was being sold as a Pilot set, but I thought it was a Lamy and bid on it).

In pretty good condition has what looks like a OB nib (but probably a medium as there is a small M on the section), writes quite well, but with a broad line.

A nice pen, probably not one I will use very regularly as it is writes a bit wide for my taste and style of writing but maybe one to use for journaling if I ever get round to doing it regularly.

An "LE" Pelikano. Stainless steel cap and black body. I put a Herbin black ink cartridge in it, and it writes more smoothly out of the box than a Visconti Van Gogh Midi that I bought in the past year.
