Arrived very recently, Taccia Staccato in my old unit colours and shown with the squadron badge sewn onto the pen-patch on the lining of my old Flying Jacket...

This abysmal piece of junk: - $5 at the local flea-market. The fellow who sold it to me seemed quite relieved to get rid of it.

It's restoration is going pretty well, with one problem. I cracked the barrel trying to get the section out! :crybaby:

It's not too badly damaged. Anyone with suggestions on how to fix this (and other problems), see my latest thread in the Repair Q&A board.

All I bought was a fantasy demo 51 vacu from Ariel Kullock.

I was the high bidder on the RHR Parker 16 on eBay, but they pulled his auction with a few minutes to go as a fraud.

Pity - wanted that pen :-(((

UPS truck pulled up.

I thought, "great, I'm going to get my pens!"

Driver couldn't find the packages. :bonk:

Got my pens later that day. UPS driver had to come back twice.

The top one is one from Monday: It's a Mazzuoli Moka 3, which is a fountain pen that can be converted into a ballpoint or rollerball. I have it set up as a fountain pen (of course).

In the middle is one I received from Turkey today from Ulugtekin, a Montblanc 342. I'll probably want to hunt down a matching burgundy pen at some point.

The bottom one is a Waterman I got in the marketplace from artaddict.

2 lovely pens from Docnib. Parker Duofold jr jade (30's?) and an Orange Eclipse of about the same vintage. Loaded up the Parker with Sherwood green ink and away I go! Orange Crush in the Eclipse.

Two Lamy Safaris in textured black. A great eBay deal two brand new sealed ones for £13 including delivery !

One is going to a friend for his 40th Birthday present along with a bottle of Diamine WES Imperial Blue and a nice slide rule (he is an engineer specialising in renewable power projects so its a green calculator and a non disposable pen - get it ?).

I'm not going to say which (four) pens I received today, or which pen I received yesterday, etc. etc. because I'm rather ashamed to have spent so much in March. However -- USPS First Class International : YOU ROCK!!! Top-notch service, with rates to Canada which, somehow, rival US domestic rates...

(Yes, USPS first-class rates to Canada are excellent.)

I'm in that "wow, did I really buy that many this month" boat as well...

Recieved a Pilot VP from the marketplace here on Wednesday (a bit behind, I appologize)

and Yesterday the postman brought me two packages... ebay finds... a "51" Demi-Aero in that nice dark green... and a "51" Vac in what I believe is Cedar Blue...

Now I'm only waiting on five more pens that I bought last month. :headsmack:

After some problem with the delivery, my pen finally arrived today :)

I have now a beautiful Sailor 1911 with a wonderful Cross Concord Emperor nib :) Can't wait to write with it !

Cya around,

Look at my eyes, Faye. One of them is a fake because I lost it in an accident. Since then, I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over...

These are from the last couple weeks, so they don't fit the topic perfectly. Forgive me I just wanted to show off.

One of the FP's on my wish list: a Waterman Carene. This one is from the Deluxe Collection, the Amethyst Bronze. I definitely see the bronze, but don't really get the amethyst. Nevertheless, it is a lovely pen. The gold cap w/ striated vertical lines is very classy looking. It has an 18K F nib, and I filled it w/ Stipula Sepia--a perfect ink match. It writes very smoothly, has a nice heft to it, and I just love the integrated nib design. Now (and I'm serious this time  ), I'm going to go on a FP buying hiatus. There are other pens I want, but they are fairly pricey, and it's not like I need another pen right now, as evidenced by the list below.

I got home to find my new Edison Herald red-black ebonite clip-less pen. I will have to write a review when I get time.
