Yesterday - my first 'straight' Pelikan: a lovely red and black stripe M400 with F nib. I wanted something special for editing. :D It gets inked today!

A wine red guilloche Waterford Glendalough (filled w/ Visconti Bordeaux), and a turquoise swirled Parker Insignia FP/RB set (FP filled w/ Visconti Turquoise). All three are very smooth writers. Thanks for the great deal, Kate.

Pilot Bamboo, black with medium nib. Everything I thought it would be, apart from the 'rose gold' copper coloured clip - what *were* they thinking?

Charles De Gaulle limited edition made for J.Herbin, 18 K medium nib made by Bock. I got it as a very late Christmas gift from my dad (the first gift was a custom made pen box that he paid for and never got). Elegant black pen with gold trim, beautiful nib. I filled it with J.Herbin violette pensee that came along with the pen. Sweet pen! Now I am going to have to try other J.Herbin inks.

Today arrived a very old conklin crescent filler, as well as two $33 specials from winedoc!

It's a good thing I didn't win the lotto. Otherwise I'd be on a real shopping spree.

The Waterman Edson I got last week arrived today. It's so dreamy. Much better in person than in the pictures. I still have four pens coming next week. I didn't win the lottery, but I'm on a real pen shopping spree lately.

Today I saw 2 pens, both Dani trios. One was one of Winedoc's $27 pens, very nice, but the other was a work of art! A Tamenuri Mikado!!!!! What a dream :cloud9:

A beautiful, near mint Zenith Extra with full 18K gold overlay in grain d'orange design and semi-hooded fine flexible nib arrived today :clap1:

It took about 3 weeks to reach me from Italy.. but oh boy, it sure is worth the wait once I've held it in my hands :cloud9:

it's in matt black with 2-toned flexi super extra fine nib, with stone texture grip.

Wow, that's nice. It looks very much like the Nakaya I've been ordering in my daydreams!

Which clip is that? I've been trying to figure out what on Earth "fumigation silver" is.

Today Federal Express brought me three fine NOS fountain pens: a Sheaffer Legacy in green lacquer with gold cap and medium nib, a Sheaffer Legacy in black lacquer with gold cap and medium nib, and a Sheaffer Legacy 2 Special Edition in brushed copper with a broad nib. And two more Legacy 2s will be on the way to me next week!

A Stipula Florentia.

I also acquired, by synchronicity, a vintage Italian pen.

This afternoon I aquired two "new" pens at the Pan Pacific Pen Club meeting in Milpitas, CA.

#1 Waterman 55 Woodgrain Fine semi-flex (I'd almost say flex) wet noodle

#2 Skater fine aero fill --- never heard of one before, so I bought it as a toy

Also enjoyed a fine conversion with Deirdre. All in all, a good day.

Very strange coincidence. I got the very same pen yesterday. What a stunning pen. I love it already.
