An Ivory Pilot Prera with a medium nib, the second aquisition for my White Pen Collection, just arrived from Japan.

No time to post, gotta go play with it.

I am currently in posession of some cartridge refilling kits (aka syringes). Why refill cartridges?

1) save money by not buying more cartridges

2) save money by not buying converters

3) cartridges hold more ink! (than converters)

4) use whichever inks you like

If any of you are interested in the wonderful world of refilling your own cartridges (and mixing inks the easy way), check out my post in the marketplace (search for cmaxx).

I got both the Filcao Libra in Pini di Roma (pine green) and Caramello (caramel) to keep my Cielo Lugurian (sky blue) company. Italian pens are dangerous.

Yesterday, I received one of my Grails from John Mottishaw: an OMAS Lucens in blue whose beauty and quality defy description. I had been mildly regretting selling off so many pens in order to buy this one, but all of those regrets went away as I opened the 8lbs (!) box and discovered this gorgeous pen. And the nib, tuned by John, is a delight. Best,

David

You really should consider doing a full review of the pen once you've put it through it's paces. PLEASE?!?!

One of the fundamental principles on which I've built my collection is that I keep a collection pen until a specimen I like better comes along. Well, thanks to the Ohio show, this BCHR Waterman 52V is going bye-bye:

Its replacement is this RRHR Waterman 01852V:

Woo hoo!

Ok Richard, when are you going to let one (ideally all) of those Broadbindexley pens you've been flaunting on another thread go?

About a week after Old Nick orders whole-house oil heat. :P

Beautiful pens Jim. I hope you're going to do a review on your new Omas Arco Milord. What ink will be the first to grace the Arco?

Big week for me!

Friday saw an EBay purchase show up - A CS 75 and 15. The 75 is a mauve/black marble and the 15 is green/black marbled. They need a little loving - tightened clips & new sacs - but otherwise are in wonderful shape! I'm patiently awaiting the arrival of a random EBay purchase - a Wil-Rite in a cream/red(or brown) swirl pattern.

Today was the big one though... Parker True Blue 2007! Thanks to a surprise influx of just about enough money to cover its cost. :D It's sitting waiting to be inked - I want my wife to see it in all the packaging and if I put ink in it, it will not be put down until at least one converter is empty...

The title today should be: What pen aren’t you getting today?

My pen is in Kansas City, it is Veteran’s Day, there is no mail.

My (hopefully) nice PFM is sitting in KC and I have nothing at all to do all day because everything is closed.

It was mailed on the 2nd of this month and it is just now getting to Kansas?

Rats!
