I got my Pelikan m605 medium nib in today.

Its purdy!

Only used it for some notations of about 3 pages in length. So far it writes nicely.

Yestreday received a NOS Conway Stewart 58 Amethyst bought via eBay (from a fellow FPNer actually, as I was to find out later)

And the day prior to that a 1946 Azure Blue Vacumatic and a Platinum #3776 Lapis Lazuli Celluloid from fellow FPNer J-F-O :cloud9:

I've got today a Pelikan M200 Blue Marble with fine nib.

It looks awesome and it writes really nice, but a bit narrower than what I wanted.

Anyway, It's great for my small handwriting.

I've got for it an Waterman Blue-Black ink.

Right now, that's the best Blue ink I've saw "on the paper".

I'm happy with the purchase, and I'll review it and the ink later.

Delta Profili with red trim in my beloved B nib. It's bumped some of my other favorites waaaaaaaay down the list! I may have found a pen I love more than my Carenes!!!! :yikes:

The weird-looking Nettuno Barracuda in red with a steel M nib :clap1: . Got it on eBay after offering the seller a ridiculously low Best Offer not at all hoping that he will accept it, but somehow he did :bunny01:

This pen looks like no other  . It's much longer than what pictures of it might suggest. 5 3/4" capped :o . And no, contrary to what its shape might insinuate, it is surprisingly quite comfortable to hold in the hand

I'm still pondering on what ink to fill it up with :hmm1:

Four pens within the same week. Not bad, huh? :P

After reading all that people had to say about a MB 149, yesterday, I picked one up. Definitely happy with it thus far :)

“It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.” Voltaire

"'The French Soldier,' pronounced Rostopchin, 'has to be incited to battle by high-sounding phrases; the German must have it logically proved to him that it is more dangerous to run away than to advance; but the Russian soldier has to be held back, and urged to go slowly!'" War and Peace

Received my silver Pilot Knight pens [medium nib fountain, and ball-point] in the mail today :) Using them is a sublime experience. Hope to post a review shortly.

Not a big purchase, but I got a Parker Frontier (in chromaflair purple) from a seller based in the UK.

I was surprised how fast the pen arrived, so I give perfect marks to pilotfishtrading. With a feedback rating of 100% and almost 32,000 feedbacks, you figure they have to be doing something right.

As for the pen, I like it a lot. It's a fine, but it seems pretty wide to me with few reference points (it's wider than my fine Safari).

I am currently in posession of some cartridge refilling kits (aka syringes). Why refill cartridges?

1) save money by not buying more cartridges

2) save money by not buying converters

3) cartridges hold more ink! (than converters)

4) use whichever inks you like

If any of you are interested in the wonderful world of refilling your own cartridges (and mixing inks the easy way), check out my post in the marketplace (search for cmaxx).

Just received in the post today a Lamy 27n from wgitty on martiniauctions.com. I got this very cheap for about £15 so I didn't expect too much. It's black with a gold cap - the gap was a little grubby and has some noticeable but isolated brassing at the top and bottom of the cap. Gave it a clean up and it looks very nice - it has, shall we say, character. And the EF nib, well, I even am considering selling my Lamy 2000*... it's THAT amazing. Great pen. It has dignity. :)

*Ummm... but I probably won't. :P

I got a Sesenta LE from Richard Binder yesterday. A birthday gift to myself cause no one else was going to get it for me. I've been intrigued with these capless pens since I got the orange VP a few weeks ago. Anyway, the Sesenta, a very cool pen. The fine nib, with already 30 plus pages on it, writes a nice smooth fine line. It's a fine people, not a med hiding under the fine name! Perfect. And the photo on Richards site doesn't do the pen justice, mine is unbelievable, the design is so deep. I don't know what I prefer though, the large VP size or the smaller Decimo. They're all good.

JELL-O, IT'S WHATS FOR DINNER!

No pens today, but three pencils. A nice silver pearl Vac pencil (quite chunky so not sure which model), working. A red Waterman 100 Year pencil (a couple of cracks on the cap and a slightly loose clip but otherwise working and a earlyish Grey P51 pencil, not working but I can probably fix.

I didn't get them today, but three days ago, my visiting aunt from Eastern Europe gave me some pens that she and her friends found for me.

I got a

--green-striped Pelikan M140 with a nice F flexy nib-->ready to use, no repairs needed

--navy blue Parker 45 with a M (I think) nib-->ready to use

--black with White Dot Sheaffer Snorkel with Triumph nib-->needs to be resacked

--no name fountain pen from Italy with a square body (cartridge-filler)

--boxed Rexpen fountain pen & ballpoint set (cartridge filler)

--boxed Micro Ceramic fountain pen & rollerball set (I've seen lots of these RBs, never a FP, so this is a first for me....oh, the FP is a cartridge-filler)

Many thanks to my aunt and her generous friends! :D

This has been a great week. Earlier I received a Pelikan M800 in black with a fine nib which is wonderful. Although I love the green/blue/and red Pels, I like the ink view window the black provides. Today I recieved a Delta Dolcevita Medium with a medium nib. I knew I liked the looks of this pen, but was concerned whether or not I'd like the nib. Well I was more than impressed when I inked it up with the Caran D'Ache Saffron ink. I really like these italian nibs... not sure exactly how to describe them except "soft" with a little feedback.
