What Pen Did You Get Today?

Last night the members of our Philippine pen group attended the Sheaffer Pens launch party at an upscale Manila mall gallery. There was a display of pens from the 1930s up to the 1980s, borrowed from two local collectors. The new, current production models were introduced by a lovely tv hostess. I won a black laque Legacy Heritage with palladium-plate trim at the raffle. It writes a juicy medium line.

Went to the "Dark Side" by buying a Mont Blanc 146. Too busy to even ink it or set it up though, so I have a nice surprise (I hope) waiting at my office if I do get a spare moment tomorrow.

I would have received a Danitrio Genkai tame-nuri :puddle: today but customs decided to snatch it up (who wouldn't) so it will be a few more days until I will actually hold it. Looking so forward to it...!

Didn't actually get it, but also didn't know I had it. Found in the back of a drawer 90's era Sheaffer No Nonsense w/ Italic nib, all black w/ chrome trim.

I finally talked myself into a Lamy Vista Demonstrator, which arrived today along with a bottle of Noodler's Polar Blue and a free eyedropper pen. It's a glorious day!

I've been contemplating a Vista myself! I thought it would look beautiful filled with turquoise ink. :)

I am sincerely hoping that today is the day on which my Lamy Safari Charcoal comes in the mail! Even if it comes tomorrow, we will just say that it came today, since I am that excited for it!

Mailperson just arrived with my Esterbrook #427 Double Inkwell Dip-Less Desk Pen Set. Only one pen with it, but I have a spare companion dip pen, so it will be all complete! Should be fun to have, two pens with two favorite inks, right there at the ready...
