I recently learned on his site about a Waterman gold night and day pen from the 90's.

I found one listed on a well known selling site and bought it on Monday.

It arrived this morning in southern California ... from Italy in 3 days!! Amazing.

The pen is one of the most georgeous pens I have ever seen. See it at ... http://www.martiniau...oaded/16169.jpg

I plan to enjoy my Christmas gift to myself.clap1.gif

Red Esterbrook J with 1555 Gregg. The tines are slightly misaligned, but it doesn't bother me that much.

MB 145 OBB

It went to the boutique for a free nib replacement (F - OBB) some two weeks ago! I got it last night!

All the best,

Went in Staples today to get some printer cartridges and wandered down the pen aisle.

Found the new BIC Disposable Fountain Pens. Red, Blue and Black together in a blister package for $6.99. I thought, what the hey, may as well see how bad they are. Don't necessarily love the ink colors but they sure did write good first stroke right out of the packaging.

Got my first "Binderized" pen today - a red Pelikan M205 with a custom XXF cursive italic nib. Love how it writes!

I was surprised to see how much it resembles my Pilot Prera. The Pelikan is a little lighter despite being longer.

Actually I had a delivery yesterday of a Hero 616 and a Hero 329 from HisNibs. I have inked the 616 with PR Gray Flannel and am quite impressed with the fit and feel of the pen, It writes a nice fine line and is pretty smooth. I think it will become one of my every day pens.

Just got my first VP, in the now discontinued Slate Gray, with a fine nib. It arrived in under 24 hrs from when the order was placed  Thanks to Todd @ isellpens!

An utterly amazing, enormous Omas 360 Magnum, the old style.

What a massive, yet light pen, and what an amazingly smooth fine nib! :cloud9:

A Pelikan 400NN Tortoise, EF from Rick Propas. It still has the EF sticker on it. Very nice looking. Some flex, hope it gets flexier with use.

Three more Platinum Preppies - I found out that the art store three miles from my house sells them. Not sure if they recently added them to the inventory or if I never saw them - I had to walk up and down the ink aisle three or four times until I saw them on a foot-level shelf. One of them will be going to my uncle for Christmas.
