Today just arrived...Giant and Gajendra.

Most of the time using smaller version ( actually standard size) but since trying to own a big and seven inches long Gajendra after quite long wait , at last arrived yesterday.

On the same day super giant with hooded nib and ten inches long take the lead in size.

1. Giant 10' long hooded nib

2. Gajendra 7" Long

3. Sheafer Std size

4. Parker 21 hooded nib

Today I received a package from Fountain Pen Revolution, an order of 5 eyedropper pens from India. There are 5 airmail pens of 3 different models and Kevin sent me a gift of a Serwex special. I have inked one of the Airmails and it has a wonderfully smooth fine nib and takes Parker black Quink very well. I have too many pens inked already so I'm going to wait a while to ink some of the others. Thanks, Kevin from FPR.

I got four pens in the mail today. Three were Noodler's pens - two of the Flex Nibs, and a Piston-fill rollerball. The fourth pen was included with a bottle of Noodler's ink - a Platinum Preppy converted to an eyedropper fill. At first trial, I am finding the Noodler's pens a little small. It's not that I have really huge hands, I don't think. Maybe I'm just used to bigger pens.

I just opened a Sheaffer 1990's era school pen I ordered from Peyton Street Pens. Shiny black plastic with a chromed plastic ring on the base of the cap, a huge ink view window on opposing sides of the body and a fine nib. The purchase also included 3 carts with black ink. Superb value IMO at $9.00 U.S. including shipping.

No connection to Peyton Street except being a satisfied cutsomer.

Received my Faber Castell Emotion today along with some inks. Gorgeous pen! It's bigger than it looks, but feels great in the hand. Looking forward to seeing how it writes tomorrow!

my Waterman's #2 flex nib arrived today! i installed it in my Eclipse, and it's... incredible! it's not a wet noodle like the nib it replaced, but still very flexible, but firm enough to be able to write normally too. it was a real PITA to get seated in the section though.

now i'll have to find a dryer ink for this pen, it's a real gusher! and i hope the drier ink will also cure the nib creep i get...

(Did I mention Joon NYC had all FPs at 50% off?)

Today:

+Ordered the Ahab pen, demo clear of course.

-Unpacked my Think Mojito, wife saw it, now wife has a Think Mojito.

-Unpacked my Waterman Hemisphere, it's going into the Classifieds.

-Unpacked my Montegrappa Cortina, it's going into the Classifieds.

You need to evoke more terror in your co-workers. No one would grab Darth Vader's fountain pen. Hmm, I wonder what kind of pen that would be.

Only received 2 pens today in the mail - fortuneately the wife was out when they arrived.

No. 1 A Cross Century Medalist FP.- "with issues" - two minor dings on the cap; and one ding on the barrel end. Steel with gold trimmings; and a medium nib. What more can a man want for £12-70p ? I have put it in the Cross box with another Cross pen, as the latter was feeling lonely.

No. 2 A Waterman Expert. All black but with gold clip and bands, and a medium nib. It came with an empty cartridge inside. Should I ask for my money back,(£27-00p) even though it is mint and unmarked. :ltcapd: Surprised at the weight of it though.
