I received my Eversharp Symphony No. 713 in a Broad Flex from Peyton Street Pens. LOVE IT!

The C/S that I bought today:

This is the box that came with the pen...

The pen itself. As you can see, it's shorter than the slot in the box. I suspect box & pen aren't original to each other.

Nib + Clip with the 'CS' diamond monogram:

The back of the pen. The gold end-piece on the back of the barrel broke and was rattling around inside the barrel. With a pair of tweezers, I've pushed it back to the end of the cap where it should be.

Maybe a bit blurry, but...

'R Jemmeson. Xmas 1942'

A bit of digging reveals...

Obituary for Mr. William Robert Jemmeson (1878-March 28th, 1954). Gippsland Times, Monday, March 29th, 1954

I wonder if it was his pen? If so, it hasn't travelled very far. From Gippsland to Melbourne. There's also his son, John Robert Jemmeson (Born 1907)...

I got a Diplomat Excellence A Marakesh in brown today at the Atlanta Pen Show!

This one, in fact:

I absolutely love it! I've christened it with Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku, a bottle of which I also purchased at the show. Wahoo!

What do you think of your pen, now that you've had it a few months? I've been admiring it too, and am wondering whether I should pick one up.

the very rare and expensive Omas 360s extra lucens

A tortoise Pelikan 400NN with EF nib, which left Finland five days ago, was delivered to my house today. It writes as nicely as it looks.

Thanks gefox!

The (new) Conklin Symetrik in Blue/Brown arrived yesterday. Decided to start it off with Private Reserve "Lake Placid Blue." Next inking, I'm thinking of using P.R. "Copper Burst."

I haven't been able to obtain one in a week or so. I have to watch my pennies right now, darn it.

Well today I snuck out and picked up a "Pen & Ink" sketch pen with an extra fine nib and two new journals, one a "pen to paper" lined journal and a " My Dysfunctions" journal from a company called Knock Knock. I believe that the latter will be fun to toy with.

I inked the pen just moments ago, and I must say that it was quite a bit slower to get flowing than either of my Lamy's with medium nib or my Scheaffer student with a fine nib. Now that it's flowing, it seems to write very well. No skipping or scratching I haven't tried the enclosed ink in my Moleskine Journal yet, but that test is to come shortly. My desk is becoming a collection point for my writing utensils. Now All I need is a postal mail friend to start enjoying my new acquisitions the way they are intended to be used and enjoyed.
