What Pen Did You Get Today?

TWSBI Diamond 530 Clear Demonstrator (1.5 piston), F nib.

I am so much impressed by the quality of this pen, the inserts and the packaging. The attention to detail in the packaging is amazing, even the cushioning foam is carefully fitted. Kudos to Mr TWSBI, aka Speedy!! :clap1:

I know I should probably have rinsed it first, but I just couldn't wait to ink it with Bad Belted Kingfisher. The TWSBI writes beautifully, the same sort of fluid feel as writing with my favorite Waterman Rhapsody, feels solid but not heavy in my small hand, a good balance even unposted (I never post the caps).

Thanks to all the FPN'rs who clued me in to a wonderful writing experience!! :bunny01:

Stopped at Fountain Pen Hospital in NYC to browse

and wound up with an Online Vision Classic in Cognac

with a .8 Italic Nib. Pleasantly surprised at how well

this pen feels and the Italic nib is quite smooth.

They were clearing them out and the price was right.

Went nuts today...got a Pilot VP F-nib, black carbonseque finish and a Pelikan M215 B-nib. Love both of them though the Pelikan nib is prob a little too broad for me. Here's a pic of a few of my favorites with the two new pens.

Not a FP but my Chrome Cross set arrived today. Been wanting to replace the set that was lifted from me a while back and finally did it.

Two Jinhao 321. After reading the reviews here, and spotting them on eBay from a UK seller at £1.95 each including postage (!) I couldn't resist. Very pleased. Wouldn't have been disappointed at ten times the price. The nibs have a bit of tooth but don't feel scratchy.

black sheaffer imperial II deluxe with a fine palladium silver nib and touchdown filler. it's just perfect! writes in a smooth, fine line, starts up immediately with no pressure at all. came with a free hero 616 that i can't even fill, ink doesnt want to come up in the filler. at least it was free.

I got a Graf v. Faber-Castell pen of the year "snakewood" - the very first pen of the year that was made - this week at a greatly reduced price. The wood is amazing and the factory B nib is actually quite stubbish.
