What Pen Did You Get Today?

Just received my C-S Silver Duro Blue Stardust, fine nib. Absolutely stunning finish, the silver under the resin veneers makes them glow in a way the photos just don't capture. The nib is smooth and flow is perfect with my current favourite Diamine Registrar's ink. :cloud9:

The downside is that there are several resin veneer options in this glowing silver Duro range; and they could get very addictive...... :hmm1:

I received a new Yard O Led Viceroy Grand with a barley pattern. It is knock out beautiful. I almost always buy new pens with B or BB nibs but I bought a fine.

If I do not get at least one pen a week in the mail, I feel down.

A vintage BCHR Conklin #20 crescent filler. It's a great pen, the nib is extremely flexible, though it might need some adjustment--the tines are visibly too far apart and every now and then the inkflow stops. I filled it with vintage 40s black Quink which I also just received today.

Following my purchase of a Rotring 600 at Artlite in Atlanta on Jan. 8, I bought two more 600s from Artlite this past Saturday. I'm hoping to have one ground to a CI at the Atlanta Pen Show and I'll keep the other as a medium to serve as a back-up incase either of the others get lost or broken. So now I have 3 600s and I'm looking to expand, not sure what I'll buy next.

A Bookworm #675 and Jinhao Gone with the Wind, both with chinese calligraphy nibs. Also, a Gui Guan #10, with broad nib (my first one). They all seem to work great.

Today I received my Montblanc Monte Rosa. I don't know anything about it, except that it's a sweet little pen with a fantastic nib.wub.gif

Bright chrome Targa classic with stub italic nib arrived today. Never handled a Targa before as a little modern for my usual taste, seems well-behaved though.

On Thursday at pen club, a very generous friend who shares my interest in industrial design gave me his second Aurora Hastil (B nib). I've put a Parker piston converter in it and it's lovely.

Lamy 2000! (Not quite today ... rather Thursday... but still!)

Cleaned, filled and used it, (Waterman B/B) and I'm in love. So smooth.

Suspected B nib, though of course it's not stated anywhere on the pen. It's older than I am, having "W. Germany" inscribed upon its cap.
