I just got my second Lamy Safari (EF shiny black with chrome) as a replacement for my first Lamy Safari (EF charcoal black) that I lost at a job interview. I'm sad, but my new pen is working out just fine.

TWSBI - EF Fun! Took it apart, put it back together, flushed it & filled it with my working ink (MB Midnight Blue.) Not as fine as I expected, but very nice - just my size. Currently using it to rewrite/correct my Russian homework.

(I'm expecting a Pilot Penmanship EF, so that should satisfy my EF needs.)

A Lamy Vista with a 1.5 italic nib. So does it get inked with Diamine Midnight or Private Reserve Black Magic Blue? Or maybe PR Tanzanite?

A MacNiven and Cameron, Waverley pen. I've wanted one for ages and saw a black one on Fleabay that I liked the look of. I'm chuffed to bits with it, it's a good size and has a lovely big lollipop lever, oh and it writes well too!

I got a Platinum Preppy and I already cracked the cap :crybaby: .

That's what happens to Preppy caps sooner or later. They still seem to work and the bodies appear to be a little more durable; that's good for those who do ED conversions.

Scotch (transparent) tape is your friend, here.

'Course, Platinum could stand to use more plasticisers in their formula, too.

A Waterman's 32v today, but it may be going back, the seller didn't mention bite marks and Initials engraved on the barrel. I like the nib though, I dipped it and I guess it is a medium flex, though it could be a tad smoother.
