What Pen Did You Get Today?

I made a commitment to buy a Parker Duofold Norman Rockwell LE today - the last one my pen store had and I think it is just beautiful! Can't want to get it in my grubby hands but I need to scratch up a little more $$. He is holding it for me though.....

I love that man! :clap1:

I've got enough pens, I've got more than enough, I've got way way. way more than enough. I've got more fountain pens than most people have ballpoints. I've got more fountain pens than my grandchildren have broken crayons. But yesterday I bought a Mabie Todd Swan on ebay.

I got a beautiful ivory Visconti Rembrandt today. It came with a converter and is filled with violet Waterman ink. Writes like buttah.

Today I was given quite a few pens by my father. I got a;

Waterman Exception Night & Day with the silver trim, medium nib.

A rose gold Waterman Carene with medium nib.

A Cisele silver Parker Sonnet, medium nib again (sensing a theme here).

A Rotring Newton 600, yep, you guessed it, medium again.

A gold (coloured) Parker Rialto, fine nib, for a change!

A blue checked Duofold, medium nibbed.

And a handful of other Waterman's that I don't recognise.

Alas, I didn't get my inky little hands on his Special Edition "51", maybe next time...

Pip-pip!

Cordialement.

A Pelikan M150 as an entry pen. Quite awesome compared to my Lamy Safari.

Waiting for the shopkeeper to call me about a Sheaffer Targa. :D

A bonanza of cheap Chinese pens. :D A Baoer Eight Running Horse, a Luoshi God of Longevity, a Bookworm Yellow Filigree (misnamed, it's really translucent amber), and a Jinhao Dragon Protects Precious Stone.

Yesterday, a Noodler's fountain pen arrived with some ink I ordered (Kung Te-Cheng). It took awhile to get the ink flow started, but now that it has, I really love it. It's a fine nib, smaller than I'm used to, but I really like it. Writes well. I love the ink, too. New Noodler fan. :bunny01:

Received a 1950's fully restored Esterbrook copper J, its in fantastic condition for its age and writes straight of. Didn't he do well.

And how can this be, because he is the Kwisatz Haderach.

We spent the last week with my wife's family in sunny Florida. I had the post office hold our mail, with delivery set to resume today, knowing we'd be home long before the usual delivery time. About 20 minutes after we started unpacking, the delivery person came to the door with a huge pile of mostly junk mail. There was a padded envelope with my name on it, however, and inside was my new-to-me Sheaffer Vigilant (at least that's what I think it is) white-dot in golden brown. I loaded it up with Noodler's GI Green and find the tip to be extra fine and somewhat scratchy. Wish I had pics to post; sorry for not having visuals. :)

Ordered three Bexley Americanas, including a rare Sanibel blue version. The other two are Rio Grande red and Sierra silver i.e. the original three colours. And have never yet even picked up a Bexley pen, but judging from the comments on FPN Bexley is one of the most reliable, well engineered and adjusted makes of pen you can possibly choose.

I picked up the Delta Turchese Meraviglia Stantuffo in the Turquiose striated Celliuloid from Bryant at the Chicago Pen Show today and I love it! I got the stub nib, silver trim, number 12 of 38. I filled it with Visconti Turquiose, a perfect partner.
