TWO brand-new Pilot Pluminix still on card from very kind FPN member yoplaboum!

One orange, one cobalt blue. The packaging itself is so cute I can't believe it! And the pens come with two spare carts.

Thanks!

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I just bought two Pilot 78g's from a member here. I'm pretty excited. I just started branching out from my Lamys, and I'm looking forward to trying something new.

Late 80's - Early 90's MB 146 with EF nib off of the 'Bay, to go with the B-nibbed 149 from a couple of weeks ago. The 146 just might be my 'Goldilocks' pen.

Also, a handful of Sheaffers for restoration - 2 Vac-Fil WW2 Triumphs and 2 TD fillers (Admirals, if I'm not mistaken) with FeatherTouch nibs.

Time for a little happy dance: :bunny01:

First non-Varsity pen! Clearly my cell phone's camera sucks because that ink color is not blue but purple!

So far so good. I can see what people mean by the Safari's nib being very stiff... a small annoyance but writes great. The color I got might be too light! I'm going to have to carry around a black to compensate.

Just received a white Lamy Safari in the mail. She's modest and pretty.

Well yesterday really, a bright yellow Osmiroid 65 MK 2 lever filler (I never even knew this colour existed, so I guess it´s fairly rare) and with it came a lovely brown Mabie Todd Leverless 4250. Both immediately restored/re-saced and they even went to a conference in London with me today.

I received my Conway Stewart Coronet today, in walnut with the italic medium nib. Pictures do not do this pen justice, its beautiful and writes so smoothly. Its my first Conway Stewart.

Talk about gobsmacked! Less than a week after finding and buying the Montblanc Dumas for which I'd been searching lo these many years, I was also able to buy a NIB Montblanc F. Scott Fitzgerald today and put a new Thomas Mann on hold.

All of these are going to be pens that I use on a daily basis because I don't buy pens as an investment--I buy them to use and enjoy.

I'm thinking that Noodler's Saguaro Wine would be a good choice as a first ink in the Fitzgerald, or perhaps Navajo Turquoise.

I've ordered an old-model deep yellow Safari, with the black clip, from Skripta Paris. They had just one left, and changed their website so that I could order it as distinct from the new one.

Hm... that white one looks good.

When you're good at it, it's really miserable.

A 1944 Parker Vacumatic. Black but with excellent transparency. Extra Fine, slightly flexible nib.

Paid for, and now awaiting in post, a vintage conway Stewart 58; a Parker 51 Vacumatic; and a Mont Blanc Le Grand 147 Traveller. This last was just serendipity, saw it unexpectedly, very good price, and an Oblique Broad nib. Waiting impatiently for them to arrive!

My Visconti Opera Master Demo! Yippee! :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

Oooh. Which color? I love the clear demo one they have. Looks like bits of seaweed floating around in the barrel! Pricey though.

Got my first MB 146. A reasonable price on eBay. Now must clean, soak, and get ready for writing.

Parker 17, Fine nib. No box or documents, but apparently unused, immaculate and with the original factory chalk marks on the barrel. A 'new' pen, and as it has the hooded nib, made between 1962 and 1972.

Colour me happy.

Was in Minneapolis for training this last week and stopped at Paradise Pens at Mall of America. They are having a 15% off your first fountain pen and 20% off your second fountain pen sale.

Took home a Lamy Studio Fine and an All Star Fine. Left them in the boxes because of concerns about the flight home.

Today I'll flush, ink and write.

Just added a LAMY Vista broad nib today. It is my first demonstrator and third Safari-type pen. It is cool seeing the flow of the ink in the pen, and it is completely functional as well. Got it for $25 including shipping and a convertor from Malaysia.

It will probably end up being my daily carry pen the way things are going, replacing my two medium black Safaris.
