I got a nice little trove in today's mail -- three Wing Sung 233, one each in burgundy, green, and black, a Wing Sung 234 (more or less a "flighter" version of the 233), and another (my third) Wing Sung 230. For now, I've inked only the 234 and 230...

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

One of the Kaweco Sport pens Chuck Swisher has up for sale came in today. It's so tiny and lightweight, but writes so well! Hopefully I'll have time to write a review of it over spring break.

Cogito cogito, ergo cogito sum.

Currently writing with:

Twisbi Diamond 530 filled with Iroshizuku Syo-Ro

Charcoal Lamy Safari (F) filled with Iroshizuku Fuyu-Syogun

Blue Lamy Al-Star (M) filled with Noodler's X-Feather

Waterman Phileas, blue marbled with M nib. Just inked it and it is a very nice writer. Good weight, too.

I have the same pen---it sure is.

Today (yesterday really) I got a Hero 375 (very lighweight aluminum semi-hooded with rubber section), an Hero 1026 (black with silvertone trim, heavy and impressive), and a new brand for me, the Huashilai 3000, even heavier, with a cool-looking white and black marbled cap.

Will be test-driving the trio today.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I got my first Parker 51 today! I say "first" because it's not going to be the last. Let's just say I have a new favorite pen.

Pelikan 1000 F (now my favorite Pelikan, what an expressive nib!)

Sailor Realo F (now that is a fine nib, maybe too fine for me)

Lamy 2000 F - WOW! If I'd known about this pen, I could have stopped a thousand dollars ago! Really nice for the $.

I think I peaked. I don't know if I'm going to buy any more pens. Sort of topped out. A family of wonderful Parker 75s. Parker 23, Parker 51, Waterman Elegance (Vavavoom!) Waterman Leman 100, Montblanc 146 X 3 (fine point is the good one, the 2 mediums skip all the time). Montblank 149 - nice, but not as nice as the Pelikan IMHO. A few Pelikan 800's. Schaeffer 1250.

Now that I know what I like and I don't - time for me to put some up on ebay I suppose.

Eversharp bonanza day:

- Brown Skyline, needs sac and nib work but no cracks

- Blue Symphony wrote well as soon as I filled it...after a quick flush/clean, of course

- Dark green Skyline, striated cap. Soaked a few minutes, flushed, and wrote perfectly. Been writing with it all day.

Do all Eversharps come with a gliding-smooth nib??? Wow!

Faber Castell Porsche Design TecFlex P3110 Gold Fountain Pen - Medium Nib. Very happy with it and it is more attractive in the 'flesh' than in photos. It is just the right size for my hand too.

None. My Carene went for a ride in the postal truck today.

I came here for the pictures and stayed for the conversation.

I seem to have accidentally bought a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck in Steel and Black, oh the dangers of walking too close to sales. It seems to write very nicely with a very smooth nib.

Waiting for my first Pilot VP to arrive today (gun metal grey, M nib) -- where is FedEx, anyway?

Edit: Arrived, inked & awesome.

My wife brought two pens back from Europe with her for me, a Kaweco Sport Luxe, F nib, and a Delta Passion in a Blue and Cream and M nib, both are smooth writers, delightful in the hand, and I am very happy.

Two firsts. My first Italian pen, and my first teeny tiny pen!
