Oh, and Faber-Castell, and Eversharp.

No FPs, but a Pelikan D400 pencil in Black/Blue stripe and a Pelikan L5 Rollerball (not sure if I will keep this as the tip doesn't stay retracted, so can be a bit messy in the pocket).

Perhaps I need my medication checked as I also just bought a Pelikan M605 from Pam. I mean she is so sweet on the phone how could I say NO!!. Once I called the number I never had a chance.

A Pelikan Blue Ocean! :o :P :D B) :) :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01: :headsmack: :clap1: :clap1:

Now I am going to go nuts until it actually gets here. :bonk: :bonk:

Nice! I have the M200 and M600 blue transparents but have yet to plunk down the coin for the biggie.

But I did spend the Blue Ocean down payment on yet ANOTHER Bexley, one of the ten Poseidon Tiger Tail customs, and just took delivery of same.

Imagine David Letterman's hypnotic stare into the camera while mumbling, "I've been Bexleyized."

Got a Parker "51"vac from a dear friend today. She saw me writing with a pen a month ago and mentioned she had a "51". I offered to buy but she had it packed away in an unknown box. Today she said she found it and I trotted over to look. Shortly thereafter I brought it home. It's currently soaking the old ink out. From what she said it was a pen she received in 1951 and was used through her masters degree, work career ... "took a lot of notes". It has her name on it. I will cherish it for the rest of my life.

A red Esterbrook Model J. New ink sac. Nib was broken, so I installed a 1551 nib (I have some extra 9000 nibs, but wasn't sure the pen deserved one yet). Excellent writer.

Regards,

Ray

It arrived yesterday. A Visconti Van Gogh musk midi (purchased in James' mark-down sale). I filled it with Noodler's Cayenne and it writes like a dream. I never personally pined for a Visconti, and now I'm hooked.

Coco:

Got my yesterday as well (from the same sale). Picture attached. Only difference was that I did pine for a Visconti and now I have one! I really like the screw on converter, nice touch. Already thinking of a full size in blue!

Sheaffer Black and Pearl White Dot Flat top

The box came today from Doc Nib-the pen is gorgeous and the nib is a juicy medium.

My first "real" pen arrived today - a Lamy Al-Star in fine. Much nicer than the Varsity I've been messing with. (I'm not counting the Rotring Initial that arrived last week with the wrong nib since it never got inked.)

This week should be busy - I'm expecting the replacement Initial from Montgomery and a Blue Kasuri VP with F & M nibs from Pam. Woot!

Warning: May contain traces of nut.

A Visconti Van Gogh Blue Midi with fine nib - from Swishers. My kids gave a gifts certificate, I came up with the balance.

Seems like a nice pen.

A BHR Esterbrook "Relief" #66. I have never seen one of these other than on Brian Anderson's very informative web page.

I just bought a Blue Lamy Safari medium point from Paradise Pens. Though I usually would not buy from Paradise Pens, as their prices are if not at retail then somehow above it, eg. Regular Noodler's inks at $14.50!! I got a $10 gift card from them after purchasing a bottle of Waterman Black ink out of pure desperation, making the cost of the Lamy Safari and a converter equal to or even slightly cheaper than many of the fine shops we are all familiar with. I didn't get the exact match that I wanted, red and in fine point, but I have found the medium point to be beautiful and not that thick of a medium!! It has a nice contrast to the Red Lamy Safari fine point I bought from Pear Tree Pens a few weeks ago. I hope to use them for taking college lecture notes this upcoming school year!

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA
