An Omas Bologna in blue and orange. It has a wonderfully smooth medium nib that is not too broad and reasonably wet. At $145.00 including shipping, not a bad deal from the bay.

Lamy Accent with a 14k fine nib in the black finish with the silver ring grip. A pen I've never considered buying, but my dad gave it to me as a gift. I really like it, despite the fine writing like a broad, but that's to be expected from Lamy.

A Hero 616 from Fleabay. Surprisingly good for an imitation of the great 51! Seems to need a bump start if it hasn't written for an hour or so, but I've had a few real Parkers that needed the same.

Two posts on the same page; I've overdone it (again). Parker New Premier with black lacquer barrel, silver plated cap and medium nib.

I just received the Pelikan M205 Black and White Wedding set with extra M400 nibs that I can't wait to modify into my preferred xxxf full flex and .9 mm Italic. Still waiting on the matching Red M205 one for this upcoming holiday season.

Just bought myself a Lamy Safari (M) in Orange, along with some MB Green. I'm in two minds about keeping it though - it writes well, and it's quite a nice size, but, I'm wondering, should I give it to my girlfriend to introduce her into our world?

Ah well, someone's lucky today - at the same time I entered the shop, someone else was paying for a Mont Blanc Chopin AND a Mozart. Needless to say I felt slightly upstaged.

Bought a Sheaffer jade flat top and vintage mabie todd swan (made by Mabie Todd Co New York) from my favourite used pen seller today.

So total age of the two pens should be more than 160 years old.

I can't be the only person to get pens this week...

I got my beautiful new (to me) Sheaffer Snorkel in Peacock today. It's a Statesman. It looks perfect, and I can barely wait to ink up its reportedly wet medium nib.

Checked out an antique store when we were out of town Friday night for a football game and found a number of nice pens. Most were a little high but I picked up a nice Senior Jade Sheaffer Flat top white dot and a sweet little Carmine Red Sheaffer lever fill Balance. $100 for the pair. Color on the Jade is pretty good. Nice finds.
