Today the pen bringer, er, postal worker brought my NOS Wing Sung 230 and 233 pens from isellpens.com. Swift, well packaged, and a very nice price. I've already got one 230, so I know it's got what it takes to be a good writer; the 233 has a Triumph style nib, which I've never used before -- we'll see.

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

Today I received a beautiful mid-60s Parker "17" in black and a user first generation Eversharp Skyline. The Skyline has an exceptionally smooth 14K nib, and the 17 isn't far behind it!

BTW, the "USA" pen I received on the 28th of October is actually a Frankenpen cobbled together out of someone's parts stash. Ugly as all get out, but writes a nice line. :-)

Lamy Safari Flame (orange/red clip) Extra fine black nib. ... My first Lamy. Now I know why

people love this inexpensive pen so much. Works great, excellent design,

very rugged. Total value. And love the orange color, which matches Rhodia orange.

Today's mail brought an Inkograph -- burgundy celluloid barrel, a couple barely visible (with a strong light) cracks in the cap and a slight bulge around the lever ring, and of course the sac in fragments and the tube and weight completely clogged with dried ink. Three bucks on eBay, though, makes it a user; the wire is already freed and the section almost clean, the lever and J-bar are in good shape (just a little rust to rub off the J-bar spring and lever ring), and Capt. Tolley's isn't expensive, considering the small bottle is enough to repair hundreds of little cracks and leaks. This one will be a regular writer in a week or two -- and did I mention it was three bucks?
