Parker Duofold International blue check with fine nib. Another unexpected bargain, but a great pen! I've go to stop making low-ball bids. I have enough pens to last a lifetime.

Today I received a new-in-box Aurora Mare LE with a medium nib - beautiful blue pen that writes great (and looks great in the pen case with the Sole and Primavera).

I received my latest fleabay find, a Parker 21 Special Pen & Pencil set in teal in immaculate condition in the original box. First question out of my wife's mouth - "Can I have your other Parker 21?" When I said yes, she said "Really?". She doesn't know that the reason I bought the set was because I knew how much she liked writing with my other 21. Yes, I have converted my wife into a pen fanatic! :o

Just got two pens back from the shop. A copper Esterbrook SJ, and a Sheaffer Admiral. The Admiral went in with a Feather Touch nib, but came back with a 14kt #5 from a snorkel. Seems there was a small accident with a buffing wheel. >.<

Waterman Carene Matte in Royal Blue with a fine nib. It's currently loaded with Mont Blanc blue-black and writes wonderfully!

I collected my pen at the post office! I asked 3 girls who I workded with to smell the scented ink 2/3 like it which is good. I like it too though it smells a bit stronger than lavender! Maybe its more subtle on the page. Als omy Lamy blue/silver Al-star was there though in some light it looks more lilac though I've seen online that this has been documented.

I treated myself to some writing paper 100sheets for £3.50 at 100gsm... if anyone knows of cheaper source could they PM me please?

It was a nice start to anotherwise horrible horrible day. So I'm just hoping that nothing will break on the way home. :crybaby:

Tomorrow I will be receiving my Namiki Falcon (fine nib) and a Pilot Knight (medium nib)...

... and then the learning will 'really' begin for me as I start to work on my handwriting and developing my own style. I am a complete newbie with this so any advice is more than welcomed so PM me or email me whenever.

Parker 51 aero, UK medium nib, which means a bit broader than a US nib. Filled with PR Lake Placid Blue, went to work, took notes on anything just to have an excuse to use the smoothest pen I have ever held.
