What Pen Did You Get Today?

I just returned from North Carolina to attend my younger brother's funeral. I had won an unnamed Waterman that appeared to be a Man 100 on ebay for $123.00. It has "Compaq" engraved on the cap and it is indeed a Man 100 with fine nib in pristine condition.

Sorry about the loss of your brother, but neat that you found the pen.

Thank you Deirdre. I have found that FPN is filled with caring people, not just people who care about pens.

Three old style celluloid Omas Paragons. A Royale Blue w/ EF nib, Scarlet w/ John Mottishaw extra flexible EF, and a Saft Green w/ John Mottishaw fine cursive italic.

Three more to go.

A Sailor 1911 full size, blue barrel, with an extra fine nib. This pen has been lurking in the back of my mind for months, and I finally caved. Boy, am I glad I did; it's perfect for margin notes, when you'd rather write in full sentences, not fragments. The size and weight happen to be perfect for my hand. What a relief to scratch this itch, at long last!

I don't have them yet, but I ordered a Pelikan Future in F point and a Pelikan Epoch in M (jade green). The latter will be my first not-exactly-cheap FP I have purchased since my Waterman Hemisphere.

Can't wait!!!! :bunny01:

Pens I own: Waterman Hemisphere F, Pelikan Epoch M, Parker Frontier Luna Purple M, 9 Lamy Safaris, 2 Pelikan Futures, 2 Heros, Taccia Amethyst Mosaic M, Lamy 2000 B, Kaweco Sport B, Pelikan M101N Souveran

When I win the lottery: Montblanc Boheme Doue Collection - Pirourette with Lilac Stone FP

Received my Waterman Edson Emerald today. Lovely pen, completes my set. I was a bit dismayed to see it had a dried up ink cartridge in it though. It's been flushed and the nib is wrapped and drying.

I received my first deliberately, methodically researched (well....somewhat researched) fountain pens today. I received a lovely Lamy Charcoal Safari with EF and a very pretty Lamy Al Star Ocean Blue with a F nib. I purchased cartridges in Lamy Black Blue and Black to give them a test. They have been in my possession for around 3 hours and I must say that I really like them. I probably appreciate the Safari more for its thinner profile and really like the EF point for use in my Daytimer (junior desk size - at least that's what they used to be called) It matches my handwriting style on the thin lines for both prioritized tasks and on the diary side. I did research the Safari and purchased the Al Star on a whim. The Al Star seems to feel right in my journal.

Another Inoxcrom Wall St. Elegance, this time a SS GT, with a two-tone nib. I don't know why, it was on special, for less than the plainer one I already own...

An Underwood Piccadilly Eco from Deirdre. It actually arrived at my house earlier this week, but I was at university and couldn't get to try it out until this weekend. A really wonderful little pen.
