Stipula Vedo in the Onyx finish with a fine nib. Bought it from Pen Gallery and was extremely satisfied with the service I received (no affiliation). The pen, my third Stipula in just two months is outstanding as well.

Kiavonne,

Those are two superb pens you just received! The Waterman Edson Ruby is so rare I could only find this diminutive image. The Visconto Aida is darned near breathtaking IMHO.

Congratulations!

Today I got this:

http://i2.ebayimg.com/04/i/001/2e/9a/27f4_12.JPG

It's better than it looks, believe me: it's an old style M800 from the 80s (w. Germany) in mint conditions. Flexy "F" nib.

A real beauty.

At a pen club meeting this week, I swapped a blue modern Conklin Mark Twain signature cartridge-converter for a ble Taccia Imperial Portuguese cartridge-converter. Two pretty pens found new homes.

Sometimes a technology reaches perfection and further development is just tinkering. The fountain pen is a good example of this.

I got a big load of pens:

1 Sheaffer Snorkel Sentinel in burgundy with gold tube, which might actually be in working order

1 Sheaffer Snorkel Sovereign in what is likely pastel blue, which is definitely not in working order and that features at least one obvious cap ding (I got these for $6 each on eBay and thought they were Touchdowns -- I'm thrilled)

1 older model Pelikano in red

2 current model Pelikanos an eBay seller sent me instead of the older model Pelikanos I bought in his auction (not happy here)

12 Italian pens I'm guessing are school pens with hooded nib and integrated slide/plunger filler -- if you know anything about them, check my thread in the Italian regional forum

Early Parker 61 in sea green with rainbow cap, and a VP in red with lustraloy.

The 61 is a lovely writer, the VP a bit firm and dry.

I used to write to my wife-to-be with a VP, before we first met (she was a pen-pal when I was in Saudi Arabia).

Well, maybe not today, but recently. I just never get to look at pens the day I receive them.

I got a broad nibbed Gui Guan fountain pen, and although it comes with an aerometric filling system it seems to also take international cartridges. A decent fountain pen.

Ciao,

You really and truly scored this time!!! That'll make one superb addition to your growing Pel collection, one which will surely evoke mucho admiration and pride. Ought to be a stunning performer with that vintage flexible F nib, too.

Good going. Strike that. GREAT going!!!

Cheers!

My first Omas Not sure of the model but it is a black matt finish. Picked it up from Sean on Saturday at the Cambridge meeting and like any pen that Sean has had it writes like a dream.

I am really liking the weight and feel of this pen.
