Five more of those irresistible Waterman Kultur crystal clear on their way from lewertowski for $15 each including shipping. If you want one you'd better order before I buy them all :-)

Received the rare and exquisite (for a cheap plastic pen) marbled jade Kultur recently, so this post is a twofer ;-) Delicious with PR Sherwood Green.

Vans,

You actually managed to get five (more!) of these for $15 each including shipping?!?? I've heard of "deals" before, but this one is earth shaking!!! Your Kulture ain't too darned shabby either (!!!).

Way to go ... and a big, hearty CONGRATULATIONS to you, Sir!

Ordered an M205 Pelikan demonstrator from our friend Printhardcopy ........

I hadn't planned to order a demonstrator, but I had a sudden fit :eureka:

I just received TWO Carenes in the mail from our very own J.M. Lewertowski - both the silver and pink gold in stub nibs. Inked them immediately with Herbin to test and settled into writing nirvana! These will slide into a dual case with differing ink colors once I've given them a good workout and become my study pens as the factory stubs perform better on margin notes and poor paper in workbooks than the B nibs.

Yesterday I got a Waterman Phileas with a F nib for $20 'in the wild' at a store called Tuesday Morning.

I didn't think I'd find a fountain pen there; what nice surprise! So far it seems to write great.

I just got a Bexley Simplicity in the mail a few days a before that; I'm so far very pleased with this one.

Today I got my own Pilot Prera Fountain Pen in Ivory and

Lamy Safari in Red

something I noticed tho, my pilot came with a fine nib and the lamy came with an extra fine nib, but the pilot definitely puts down a finer line.

I, personally prefer the finer line but I guess the width of the line depends on the kind of pen.

as of now I am loving both but am leaning a little towards the pilot as a fav.

my next purchase I am hoping will be an omas!!

Three funky-flower colored plastic ones (orange, lime green and pink) that came in Parker boxes (seller questioned whether the boxes and the pens belonged together) that I think I bought from a member here. They're light-weight little fun things.

I came here for the pictures and stayed for the conversation.

Incredible, Diplomat! You'll soon require a wheelbarrow to cart all those Pelikans around you're accruing so rapidly!!! :D MAN ... you really SCORED with that M605.

Can you imagine having similar luck when acquiring a handful of Toledos, Light House of Alexandrias, Maki-E's and 170th Anniversary Majesties?!??

Cheers! :happyberet:

A Pelikan M200 marbled green with a fine nib. Lovely!

Just received the Rotring Newton I ordered from the ebay seller Streetfair. Customer service was great. I ordered the converter I thought would fit the pen along with the pen & emailed to make sure the items would be combined to save on shipping. The seller emailed me back and said the converter I ordered actually wouldn't fit the pen (despite being a Rotring brand!) and substituted a Waterman converter. He also included a couple of cartridges of Private Reserve DC Supershow Blue along with the pen & converter so I could try it out right way.

The pen writes EXTREMELY smoothly. I may end up getting another Rotring pen in the near future. Just trying to decide which one. :)
