I got a Senator piston filler today. It's dark red. I don't know the model, but it's pretty big.

I neglected to mention that I got a Sheaffer Snorkel Clipper Thursday. It was an eBay buy for South of $40, and it appears to work without restoration. That means I've gone 4 for 6 getting working Snorkels out of the pens that were billed as Snorkels that actually were ones. I also bought 2 pens that turned out to be vacuum fillers that were billed as Snorkels, but I have learned from that -- I must see the tube in the photo.

Just got hold of a Lamy 2000: I'll be inking it later, and shall see if the earth moves...

Earth hasn't moved, but it's a good pen. I think I've lucked out with the nib, from what some people have been saying (either that or the sellers adjusted it before sending it out), as it's a nice and smooth thing which hasn't presented any problems so far. (Now I've said that, it'll doubtless seize up overnight...)

The ink window appears to be completely useless, but that aside it's great. Well worth the money.

A beautiful Waterman ring-top, 0852 1/2, excellent condition, fine flexible nib.

A Parker Challenger, also a nice writer.

A British-made Parker 51, 1948, black, vacumatic fill. Had to clean it thoroughly when I got it. Nice writer. My second P51, the first won has been repaired but I'll be getting delivery next week.

I got my mid 40's Sheaffer Feather Touch Craftsman in the mail today. :bunny01: :bunny01:

GregKoos tuned it up before he sent it. :cloud9:

This is the one that I was really waiting on. I was so excited that I could barely get the lid off of the jar of Havana Brown.

60+ years of service and only a few posting marks.

Told myself at the beginning of the year to cut down on pen buying.

But while holidaying in Malaysia now just can't resist buying pens at very attractive price.

Bought a Pelikan M215, anothe Pelikan (probablyly Pelikan Go), Parker Sonnet flighter Fu, and a Pilot Knight on a same day.

Today I bought a Parker Sonnet ballpoint pen in black/gold trim to match my Sonnet fountain pen. Tomorrow I will bring my Sonnet FP back to my rotation. Too long time in the drawer.

Tomorrow I will carry the couple in my chest pocket. My first time to use FP and BP in matching style.

After more than one long month of waiting, I am joining those that can enjoy a Black OS Flat Top Sheaffer's from Karl Barndt: what a beautiful restored pen!

Not to mention I did not want her to be alone for such a long time and I made her a comrade: a Balance OS brown striped.

My eyes are all for them tonight.

Just received a very nice Pilot with fine nib from Readymade! Great pen and great guy to deal with!

Red Dollar Pen from Adam with the sunburst Estie 3550. He even included a very nice pouch. The NIB is SWEET :cloud9:

I now know for sure I am a XF to F nib guy. Will start selling off my medium and larger nibs. Starting with a Parker 100 and a Waterman Carene.

I'm so happy I could put on some dancing shoes and go celebrate! Just received my pink Estie CH with a 2668 nib from ebay. It's in great condition-no cracks, needed a tidbit of cleaning, but inked up right away and writes very nicely. :cloud9:

Gray Pilot Prera, fine point - a gift from Ethernautrix (thanks, Lisa!). I'm running it as an eyedropper and it is ideally suited for the eyedropper life. Woo Hoo! :roflmho:

Pilot Custom 742 FA, from Melpens. Mel was out of stock, and offered me the option of canceling the order, and did not charge my card until he shipped it. He shipped it Saturday, and I got it today. It is WONDERFUL! Perfect amount of flex for my taste and ability, perfect balance, and it is beautiful.

The first two pens i've bought off ebay. The silver one is a Hero 446 and the second one is an old Sheaffer Commandant. It needs a new sac though which is already ordered :-) Good for a start i believe :-)

A burgundy Sailor 1911M with 21K H-MF. Mr. Taizo put this pen together for Edwin Yontef (21K-MF is made only in black and is now sold only in Japan), smooth and responsive and puts down a wet M/F line. A real joy. Classic good looks.

A Lamy 2000 with a F nib from Pam Braun. After having wondered, pondered, questioned, and "hmmmed" for a year, I finally ordered one all the while still questioning myself. Well, the nickel dropped and my jukebox is kickin'! I love this pen! I can't tell you why a black plastic cigar affects me as it does. It just makes me smile. Not the prettiest pen in the drawer. Or is it?

A Namiki Raden VP, F nib, also from Pam Braun. Almost too iridescent to write with, the abalone shells shimmering in the light. Waterman South Seas lays the turquoise line upon which the Raden glides like a board on a wave. I need a drink with an umbrella in it.
