Got a donor parts pen to rebuild a Blue Esterbrook J! Got it all together and it writes GREAT!

If you want what I recieved, then 6 Wearevers(three Carts and three Supremes). If you want what I paid for recently, then a solid stainless Cross ATX, a Dinoiuyang 818, and a vintage textured celluloid University were paid for in the last few days. I'm so excited I cold just wet myself waiting for them.

My first purchase since joining this forum: Lamy Safari in yellow.

I dithered over several pens but after checking out Pear Tree (I saw a reference to it in a Lamy thread) I ordered the Safari.

But what really sold me was the ink sampler. All those inks, so little time. I bought the pen just so I could order the ink!

Well, not actually today, but yesterday, I received a Conway Stewart Windsor, blue resin over stirling silver, with a superb Broad Italic stub nib........simply gorgeous :)

Nothing actually purchased....but the day was interesting.

Firstly had the intent on finding a Lamy Safari or Vista and buying an EF nib and a replacement 1.5 calligraphy nib for it.

Then we moved to searching for something in a Pilot Knight with a EF/F nib...only could find Ms.

Once I got back from errands, I somehow found my way to chinese pens, and then I found Jinhao and Hero. I have a Hero 282, Jinhao Dragon's Descendant in Copper and a Jinhao 2008 Olympic Torch in the matte silver grid color in my shopping cart at Isellpens..

Only forcing myself to sit on the purchase because they don't ship on weekends and I need to find a way to talk myself into not getting them since I'm in college and really shouldn't spend any money at all hahaha!

If I do get them though, I'll def review!

Today I received a Platinum Preppy eyedropper, and a highlighter, and a humungous bottle of Nooler's Kung te Chung. Great little cheapie eyedropper, although a little broad for my taste, and a very nice ink. Someone else already reviewed the ink, and the pen has been discussed ad nauseum.

I just got my grey/blue Danitrio Cum Laude from Kevin today. Looks great and writes beautifully. :cloud9:

I'm a wee bit worried that the section is a little too wide for my grip, but we'll see how it pans out.

The Jinhao Confuscius Memorial I was waiting on arrived today. Okay, postage from Hong Kong was more or less the same as the tenner I paid for the pen, but it's still a very nice piece indeed. Feels very solid (it's obviously a brass body under the black lacquer and silver decoration), a nice smooth nib and an equally smooth feed. It's fat enough that some people might have a problem with it, but that aside it's lovely, and it has one of those intermediate line weights I'm drawn to as well, writing like a very fat fine.

I'm very taken with this pen.

Actually last night. But got home too late to really do anything with it. Picked up a Sheaffer Skripsert on Ebay in the Black and Gold Tulle pattern. It's a slender pen but fits just fine so far in my medium to large sized hand. The pattern is the big attraction for me, so despite it being advertised as a "Lady's" pen I still went for it. Glad I did
