I received the "Classic Pen Set" as seen on TV as a Christmas present from my mother in law. The set includes a fountain pen that takes cartridges and contains 5 black, 5 red, and 5 blue carts. They look like they are standard international cartridges. If this set sounds familiar to anyone, it is because it has been discussed before... This is the one with the TV commercial that shows someone playing darts with the FP and then punching a hole in a soda can and then writing with it. I haven't tried darts or the soda can trick, but it does write decently.

-Hello, my name is Kenny and I'm a fountain pen addict with a taste for Lamy and Esterbrook.

My used Phileas arrived in the mail yesterday! It's lovely, it writes well, I'm so pleased! I had to fiddle with an eyedropper in order to fill the empty cartridge, but it worked and writes just fine.

We had a late Christmas - my wife gave me a Waterman Man 100 Opera - NOS from The Pen Place in Kansas City - Lee steered her in the right direction! This is one classy pen.

May we live, not by our fears but by our hopes; not by our words but by our deeds; not by our disappointments but by our dreams.

A Rage Red Parker 45 with a F point and a mint unused black and gold Wing Sung Parker 51 Lookalike (With no discernible model number), both from the late '70s from my girlfriend's mom ( bless her soul! ). Day before, my dad also fished out a pretty decent Sheaffer School pen (from the 70's again) from his closet, tossed it to me and said, "maybe you'll find a use for this." The Sheaffer has a bizzare button fill converter that has a ton of clogged ink in it, presently in a bowl of water.

My Cross order arrived today! Ruby Century II and Sage ATX. They're both quite lovely, and I've inked up the Century II--a pleasure to write with.

Two OS Balances arrived today from Sarj Minhas - a 1932 Red Veined Grey Pearl and a 1935 Black and Pearl. Both in excellent condition with near perfect colour. I am one happy FP collector/user :cloud9: .

My Waterman Edson Sterling finally arrived today, after what seems like the longest 8 days of my life. :D I can't stop writing at the moment, I love it. Mind you its a good job, because its going to be a while until I can afford to write on this thread again. :(

OMG, OMG, OMG OMG! I got a Mabie Todd & Co. Swan Leverless with a fine, so-called "semiflexible" nib, but man, it's really got some good flex going on! I've been playing with it with some Sheaffer Purple ink, and I think I'm in love!

New pen today, gotta love extra Christmas cash. Just got a charcoal lamy safari which I am going to give to my lil' bro for school, still fun to flush out and ink a new pen though. Have a brown stripe lifetime balance (lever fill) on the way for myself, can't stand the waiting sometimes...
