As if by magic, both the Bindler Pelikan .5 mm stub nib I bought from RedRob in Canada and the Pel 200 body ordered from Richard B. arrived in the same mail delivery. Putting the two together I have one sweet pen!

I got an Indian eyedropper today. Stunningly beautiful with a horrible nib and won't flow properly, gonna try flushing tomorrow and hope for the best.

A totally beaten up Parker 45 student pen - cracked cap, teeth marks, bent nib, the works! I've got the nib tines both pointing in the same direction and solvent welded the cap back together, and by now it works - eh, OK I guess. I'll play with it some more tomorrow to see if I like it.

My first birdie, a beatiful marbled blue M200 with F nib.

Impulse buy, for immediate gratification

Bought 5 minutes ago in a B&M gift/newspaper shop (his last nice FP, sigh... ), got a good price.

Already filled with 4001 blue (what else?) and already in love with it. :cloud9:

I'd say it will be just the first one...

Hi,

One of the Yellow M200s from Kaufhof in Germany, courtesy of a very helpful FPNer as they don't ship outside Germany (thanks piembi).

Rather more yellow than the photos suggested my wife liked it (said it made change from the usual colours you see). Now just trying to decide if it looks better with a single or two tone 14ct nib.

I received my Stipula Ventidue in raspberry with an EF nib. This is a special pen because I have been saving up for it. The raspberry looks a bit pinkish in some light, but I think I'm secure enough in my masculinity to handle it lol. Actually, the pen writes so well that I would write with it in any color.

The UPS man finally arrived today with a long-awaited Montegrappa Elmo in Marostica Red (this is a pre-Richemont era pen) with a broad 18kt nib. It is a beautiful pen, as you can see by the pictures. Can't wait to load it up and write with it!

Just got back from a 'visit the family' trip and found a parcel from Japan waiting:

A very lightly used Pilot Custom 74 with a 14Kt B (No.5) nib.

Never had a pen with this sort of filler. Should be interesting!

You have a problem! But as they say, a problem shared is a problem halved.

... you can send your nice excess Pelikans to me!

You're right.

Unfortunately my problem is with definition of "excess"...

I'll be happy to get rid of all these horrible things as soon as I will get convinced they are in excess...

(may I suggest you don't hold your breath?).

Today I bought a black Parker Duofold ballpoint pen to match my black Duofold fountain pen.

It is the first matching couple for me. Normally the ballpoint pen that I use is my old friend stainless steel Parker Jotter.
