What Pen Did You Get Today?

Today I found an as new PFM V in blue at a local antique store for about $US90. Has a factory broad nib and only needed a replacement O ring to be a perfect worker.

The best news is that the owner of the antique story says that she is in negotiations with a seller who has hundreds more vintage pens. Hooray!

Not a pen today, just a nib. A couple of weeks ago I bought a blue marbled Parker Sonnet on Ebay - I just do not know what possessed me...... Buty today I received a stub nib for it from Pendemonium - wow, what a transformation! Smooth and with great character (I love stubs!) and, as yet, no flow problems at all...... :):)

I got the sweetest little brush pen from Doc Nib. I don't know what I am going to do with it, but I am having endless fun playing with it.

Why, sometimes I'd like to take a switchblade and a peppermint and a Cadillac and throw it all in a fire.

Got a dark green Parker 21 Super in today. Looks like it has never been inked. It was a little scratchy at first, but 2 minutes writing turned it on and it loves Quink!

Got my matched pair of Classic Pens CP4s today....simply gorgeous!

Gave the silver a bit of a shine and just dipped the Broad nibs which are as smooth as silk, if a little 'round' for one who prefers 'em a little more 'stubby'.

Nice appropriate packaging, too, not the stupidly huge boxes some makers provide.

They'd be wonderful for a Civil War nut ;)

Finally.... my blue Visconti Millennium Arc is back from Italy :clap1:

They actually replaced the entire sac. I believe it should be fine now :)

I got a nice little brown/green Parker Duofold from Danny Fudge ("The Write Pen"). Nice fine nib, good flow. It's my new favorite pen.

Deirdre

I'm sorry to hear that

In an instant it made me appreciate (what I previous thought was "over protecting") the boxing that people did

I hope you get the pen back

It makes me think that we are not that far removed from the point where people are saying that they won't ship to certain countries for precisely this reason

(I've bought from you before)

Today, I got the package for a pen -- with no pen in it. :(

It had torn open (or been torn open, more likely).

A Pelikan M 605. M nib.

I wrote only a few lines so far, but this seems to be the ideal size and weight from the Pelikans for me.

So this is my Christmas pen and also the last pen I buy this year.
