According to the USPS, at home I received three (3) Wality pens won on eBay. a 69, 70 & 71. Two eyedroppers (my first time with that system) and a piston filler (I like my Pelikan pistons and my Reform piston filler). I read a favorable review on fpn and sniped all three. I saw an example of one of these in the Marketplace this morning. Hope I like them, and wish I had some different ink. I have only blue-black Skrip and LCR from Noodler. Maybe I'll get ink for Father's day in a couple of Sundays.

Well, on Monday, I got my Filaco pen "Prize" form Richard. It writes smoothly, and the color of the pen is beautiful. Thanks Richard!

Monday, got my Dani Trio Tac Carry II with Deb Kinney stub nib back from being on a "custom-nib conversion" assignment. I think it was at least partly successful in turning Srehman to the dark side.... :)

Today my Dani Trio Raw Ebonite Densho came back from Kevin Cheng, having had its flow adjusted. So far, it's working great!

Well not today but I received TWO pens yesterday as I have mentioned in my other post. One is FPN LE and the other is Pelikan M400 (Tortoise Honey)!

I have inked up FPN LE within three hours time of receiving it and writing with it ever since. I have filled it with Pelikan Brilliant Blue 4004.

Tortoise-Honey is waiting now. I have my another favourite Pelikan M760 inked up, so until then.

Thanks !

abhik.

My new Namiki VP Raden came in the mail today. It's even moe stunning than I thought it would be. I chose to ink it with PR black cherry (one of my favorites) and put the nib to the paper. It's awkward to hold becaue I'm not used to it yet. I like large pens, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time. I got a terrific price on it from an online retailer if anyone is in the market for a Raden let me know and I'll share my source.

Best regards,

Jerry

I came away from the Raleigh Pen Show "Clam Happy" ! These pens followed me home: a red Esterbrook J with a medium italic nib (can't tell you how many Esties I looked at to find that nib), a Namiki "Expressions" with beautiful teal and mauve highlights in the resin, and a wonderful elderly Conklin BHCR with flex nib (I'm having fun making curliques with it).

Loved the show -- it helped me rule out some pens I thought I was interested in, but also helped me firm up my Wish List!

It was actually yesterday, but at the Raleigh Pen Show, I got a vintage Platignum stub and a Kaweco eyedropper filler. And even better, I got my grandmother's Parker 51 restored! New filling system, new sac, inscribed name shining again. And it writes beautifully! (Thanks, Ron Z!) I also came home with several bottles of ink. The icing on the cake was when I won a door prize, a single leather Mont Blanc pen case. As I don't have a Mont Blanc, I gave the case to my father for his Mont Blanc, a Christmas gift from my mother many years ago.

On Saturday my Rhodium Bamboo arrived! I'm pretty psyched about it, although I'm thinking I should have gotten a medium rather than a fine. Generally I think the finer the better, but I like a finer nib for drawing and a smoother nib for writing. The weight of the Bamboo makes it really a writing pen rather than a drawing pen, so since Namiki's medium is plenty fine for writing, I think I'd rather have a little less bite to the nib.

Who are the pen shops in your neighborhood? Find out or tell us where they are, at http://penshops.info/

I just wanted to start a poll showing the new pens people get every day!

Have Fun!

Received two (2) Sheaffer school pens, fine point, in red, each including two (2) cartridges. Won them on eBay, will probably give them to my granddaughters if they do well with the Sailor INK PENs I got for them.

Still in the mail? 1 Tac Carry II. 2 choice pens from neotiger of FPN, and a Sheaffer FP & MP set in seafoam green, also from eBay. My collecting is near an end, as I am about to the point where I cannot reasonably use all the pens I have, and I personally don't care to collect pens I won't actually use, but have no problem with those who do. I try to be easy to get along with.
