I just wanted to start a poll showing the new pens people get every day!

Have Fun!

A Parker Sonnet Chiseled Tartan ST. Not my first Sonnet and not my last. I even have a FAKE, which writes................ adequately.

Parker 75 sterling Silver cisele with a buttery smooth fairly wet medium nib. It's slimmer than I thought it would be but much more attractive, I'm very happy with it.

Hi All! I received four pens last night! Not today exactly! Pens were sent by our fellow FPN er Hari317! Two are NOS Indian made Pilot and Swan Warwick from Marbie Todd. Both have 14C fine nibs! Other two are hand crafted pens from Guider. Both with steel nibs. One in Yellow Celluloid and another golden yellow acrylic. I hope to shoot all four pens together and share with you!

Thanks for reading!

Abhik.

Yay! Today I received the yellow Lamy Safari that I won in the writing contest Feiye posted in the Marketplace. Also, came with some purple cartridges.

Went to the NY/NJ Pen Show and couldn't resist the call of the Nakaya. Got me a Red-Black Picolo Writer's pen.

Wallet is very, very light now.

Looking for an Omas Arco Verde...the one that got away.

Todd's isellpens.com package just arrived including:

A blue Lamy Studio,

A Hero #9101 and

Two Monteverde Diva La Penna Lipstick pens in Dark Blue and Arizona Turquoise.

They all arrived alive and well and are resting comfortably at my brother-in-law's home in lovely Minneola, Florida; I, however, live in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Yay, I'm glad it arrived so quickly! :) Writing sample!

Today I received some pens I'd ordered prior to my financial crisis: 3 Pelikans, M320s and a M300, from printhardcopy (superb service and communication, couldn't be happier with these little birds) as well as....

My two Tibaldi!!! Finally...I've never known shipping to take so long, I paid on the 3rd of September and they've just landed, an Impero and an Iride. I haven't really formulated my thoughts about these yet (haven't had a chance to look at them properly and maybe ink up...). In any case, I'm just glad they're here.

Oh and yesterday I received the Nakaya Phthalo ordered for me, Laura's an angel. :) It's been a busy busy week, I've sent out countless pens and have received so many more :)

In rotation:

Pelikan M400 with Pilot Iroshizuku Momiji

Nakaya Kuro-tame Desk Pen with Platinum Blue

Visconti Van Gogh Maxi with Aurora Black

A few days ago I got a British Waterman, a kelly green W3 from the 1950's I'd guess. I flushed it out, re-cemented the newish sac (it had come loose) and tweaked the nib, and now it's filled with Legal Lapis, writing with a smooth, wet line. I use it (and about 5 other pens) at work.

Got my Reform 1745 from JJBlanche today - it is a bit on the small side, but the nib and piston are sooooo smooth. Also, I mainly got it to try out a piston filler before I commit to investing in a Lamy 2000 or Pelikan Mxxx. The 1745 will become my new uni pen!

Wanted List: Pelikan M800 F; GvFC Pernambuco F

A bit late but Friday I picked up a Pelikan M200 with a Binderized XXXF nib from a buddy who hated how the nib wrote. I got it for a song and it's basically brand new! Not a fan of the toothiness of the nib but I'm making due.

Two Reform 1745s from Justin Blanche, and a Platinum 3776 from Ujuku.

The Reforms are some of the smoothest-writing pens I've ever had. Ever.

The Platinum has the UEF (Ultra-Extra Fine) point, and I do believe that if I concentrate very hard, I could write the Gettysburg Address on the back of a postage stamp with it.

A Parker 45 from the 60s (I think) maroon, tapered barrel.

Bought on Sunday secondhand, had some ewwww teeth marks, now polished out. The pen was thoughly gummed up with ancient black ink, now running nicely on a Parker blue cartridge.

Pen has cleaned up very nicely with several coats of car wax and looks brand new.
