Guider Brown Pen

I just wanted to share some pictures of this handmade Guider nib that I have been using for a pretty long time now ( since 2008 or so). I recently purchased this plain brown "medium" sized pen and transplanted the nib into this. I think the plain brown colored pen with the golden accents is a worthy match to it.

A slighty oversized 5.2mm feeder had to be installed, fortunately, I found one in my parts box.

They sold me a pen with this nib for INR1800/- in 2008. Hope this helps.

A real beauty. I am partial to the no-step design of the barrel and the rings on the cap. The gold nib is a winner, love the shape.

I had recently enquired about a 14ct gold nib pen from one of the Rajamundhty based makers. The quoted price was Rs.16000. Gold prices have shot through the roof it seems.

The price sounds like exactly what is charged for a 14Ct nib Ratnamson Supreme nowadays, but that is a much larger nib and they do have much lower priced 14Ct nib pens like the models 15, 32 etc.... But yes the Rajahmundry gold nib prices have more than tripled in the last 8 years.
