Grats on that lovely Tip Dip. Those are what first got me into Scheaffers back in the day. I was fascinated by the filling mechanism and ended up buying several of them, the first being a pastel blue that I liked to imagine had been made the year I was born.

 

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

On its way to me now: Gianni Versace made by Omas in the 1990s. I've been wanting to find an Omas, didn't know they made pens for Versace then (or even that Versace had nice pens), so this was a roundabout way of finding my first Omas.

Ordered in Dec, arrived on the 26th of February, because German Data protection,** refused to allow the new owner of Pelikan to have the wholesaler's list.

EF...

Now empty, and just put in the dreaded dirty pen cups. Pelikan rose gold and copper 200.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.      Banker's bonuses caused all the inch problems, Metric cures.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.

Wow! That's one striking pen. I really like the rose/copper combination. Please follow up once you get a chance to ink it up.

Not an oft-seen color combination, which makes it all the more beautiful. I hope it performs as well as it looks.
