Another Yahoo!Japan set of pens.  I am a sucker for these overly large sets of the same pens...10 Plaisirs & 8 Curidas: $71.

Which ones are the Curidas? I thought they were the Platinum retractable pens.

Are the Plaisir all the same nib size?

Congratulations on your acquisition. What will you do with ALL OF THEM?

Kakunos, not Kuridas.  Sorry, I corrected that.  And the Kakunos are all medium, which is somewhat unusual and the Plaisirs are mostly fine.  It is childish, but I like inking a punch of them with different inks and going somewhat nuts.

I’ve had a BCHR eye dropper for a few years now, with a warranted 14k nib that was pretty beat up when I bought it. Today was the day it finally failed, so I impulsively bought another similar warranted nib. I also ground the broken tines down on the one I have, so it’s an untipped gold italic now, for however long it lasts.

Top 5 of 26 (in no particular order) currently inked pens:

Pelikan M300 CIF, Pelikan Edelstein Golden Beryl

MontBlanc 144R F, Diamine Bah Humbug

Pelikan M605 F, Pelikan Edelstein Moonstone

Waterman Caréne Black Sea, Teranishi Lady Emerald

Pilot 742 FA, Namiki Purple cartridge

always looking for penguin fountain pens and stationery

Went to the second hand store to sell some stuff the other day…

came home with a “51” aero set with gold caps and a box.  And some cash.

pen writes great note that I’ve corrected the nib.

Just give me the Parker 51s and nobody needs to get hurt.

Trust me when I say that sanity is overrated. Tried it a few times and it rarely worked out well.

Crazy is more better! imo

See "King of Hearts" "Le Roi De Coeur" (1966) for more information.
