Lovely pens.  I would have had trouble choosing between those two in silver-both have such interesting designs/ patterns.

Shipped and sold by Amazon Germany?

Yes. Not as good a deal as yours, of course. ;)

I've found the CP1 to be a really fun pen.  It's my go to whenever I want a substantially different feel in the hand.  It's got that thinner profile while still feeling substantial in the hand due to its brass body.  It deserves its place in Design History.  I hope you derive as much enjoyment from your CP1 as I do from mine.

The resin on your Grifos Pocket Pen is beautiful.  What is the section made of?  Do you have any photos of it open in writing mode?

That’s a fun looking pen.  The resin pattern and sheen is striking.  Thank you.

Just jumped on a Pelikan M200 clear demonstrator for under $100.

Have long wanted one of these and was unwilling to pay a premium to acquire one.

Probably will take a week or so to get here...

Oh yes, it's a medium nib and I have plenty of alternatives sizes to swap if I want.

For April 1, Pen Chalet has some good sales, some at 50% off, others less. And you can use the coupon code SORBET to get another 10% off. So I bought a Kaweco Art Sport Pebble Blue with BB nib for $84.38. That’s $40.62 less than the original $125. They only have two colors in stock, the blue and the white versions.

I thank Misfit for her above post.  I had deleted the PEN CHALET (Sorbet, since April 1) message received this morning without opening it but thanks to her post I also was able to take advantage of the sale for another KAWECO Art Sport in the pebble blue color!

I think this will be my first blue KAWECO & I have long appreciated the new edition of these Art Sports.  I have no interest in the latest piston filling KAWECO Sport since it is only offered in black but @ a lesser price I am happy to have this blue pen.

@Barkingpig I’m so glad my post helped you.  What nib did you choose? We will have to form a Pebble Blue Art Sport Club 😉. Some expensive pens are 50% off.

When I first saw the current Art Sport pens, I wanted Hickory Brown. Then the Terrazzo kind of caught my eye. Neither were in stock, so that’s why I chose Pebble Blue. It’s an excellent sale on those.

I had hoped to help more people get good deals. Time is running out.

A very impulsive Pilot Explorer Ex2.

Why? I received a discount code in my email this morning and went to see if there was anything of interest. And saw the Pilot. The clincher was that it promises to seal well and can take a CM nib I already have.

I like the nib, but lacked a suitable home for it. I really don't enjoy the Metro stepdown or that it,  the Prera and Kakuno all dry out so fast here. I thought I was out of options for a well sealed pen with an italic nib fine enough for everyday handwriting. This might be the solution.

Will work for pens...

Misfit, Thanks again!

I always get a double broad if available & did so today because it was possible.  I have the earlier Art Sport called Tortoise, which looks like the Hickory Brown to my ears from the photographs.  It was sold out before I even saw it but after a few years I found SRE Brown offering his tortoise for sale on his site & was very happy to not only have the pen but especially happy to have a pen that had belonged to one of my favored pen persons.  I ordered a double broad 14kt gold nib for that pen.  (I have changed several BB nibs for 1.5 Italics which I prefer & will probably switch the nib on the new pen with another one I have a 1.5 in use.)

Then next Art Sports I bought were an orangish one called Perlmutt Pearl & a red one called Rosit, from the collection that had a purple, yellow & green.  My favorite Kaweco Sport is one made in a joint venture with Visconti which is a beautiful greenish marbled celluloid, piston filler that came with a 14kt gold nib in fine but because it is an older nib has decent line variation for a fine nib.  It was the only one I have ever seen offered for sale so I was happy to find it despite a less favored nib size.  It is marked as being one of 883 pens.

So you can see why I NEEDED a blue one!

Now I’m very pleased and happy I helped you get the blue one at a much lower price. It’s my first Art Sport.

Another HongDian N8 in red (‘Maple Leaves’) with F nib, for less than US$15 taxed and delivered to Australia, to add to the prospective giveaway pile.
