I bought a Lamy Dialog 3 from r/pen_swap the other day. It wasn't a complete impulse buy though as I've wanted one for a long time and have been able to try one in person. I could never figure out which color I wanted, and fate has given me a matte black version.

  Thank you, I hope the universe hears you. One flight was canceled and the replacement has been delayed 5 hours. Luckily I found out before heading to the airport at 4am.

I was looking for the Levenger True Writer Kyoto on eBay. A True Writer called white marble showed up. It is a fountain pen, while most others in the search were ballpoint or rollerball pens. So I bought it.

@AmandaW I suppose so. I need to stop spending money. It doesn’t grow on trees like in the Animal Crossing game. 
 

I wonder what ink I should put in the white True Writer.

Ah, happiness. Time to buy another red pen to mark the Kansas City Chiefs going to the Super Bowl. Do I get a Kaweco Sport Classic red, or the Elite Royalty edition deep red?  The fans are nicknamed Chiefs Kingdom.  Having seen neither in person, I’m not sure which red to get.

I opted for the Kaweco Sport Classic red. Paid $10 to get a 1.1mm stub nib on it.

Won a Sheaffer school pen, the 70s version with the conical ends. It's red with an XF nib

 

Oddly the auction was finished a few days early. I haven't had that happen before.

Every Kingdom must have a Sovereign.

As such, perhaps you ought to look for a Pelikan M400, M600, or M800 in red stripes?
(I would advise the acquisition of one of the older ones, with the see-through barrels, over the purchase of one of the current-production pens with the opaque barrels.)
Or perhaps even a red tortoiseshell M600?
