It is allegedly red, but I think it is pink and under black light, it is ORANGE.

I see it as hot pink in the picture, that it changes color in black light makes it extra cool!

I suppose it was impulsive. First I saw a new to me website shared by @Penguincollector  I ordered a vintage Parker 51 Demi Aerometric pen in burgundy with a F nib. My brother used his non-Demi 51, and let me try it. Then I saw the Franklin-Christoph email with a link to pens on sale. There was a nice color Bluestone Black in the model 3 Iterum. To get the best price, I ordered it without a nib. I have two F-C nibs, so it will either get the EF or Music nib.

In a whirlwind that robbed me of my better judgment, I ordered one of the new Esterbrook Esties in matte black with a piston filler. On top of that, I ordered after the initial run had sold out, and so it will be at least a couple of months before it will be sent. I wonder if I will still want it when I get it.

I keep putting the new TWSBI Eco in indigo blue with bronze trim in my basket and then deleting it. I keep telling myself I already have too many pens and I don't need another generic (but pretty!) piston filler. So far I'm winning the debate.

@Paul-in-SF I saw a review of the matte black Estie pen by DoodleBud. I hope you like yours. I have the Indigo and Bronze Eco, and it is a very attractive one. Not to ruin your willpower or anything like that.

Parker Frontier fp medium. I bought one about 15 years ago, lost it. I use a P-51 almost all the time, but I was just curious about the Frontier, and it was cheap.

PenBBS 355 with a fine nib, in clear acrylic. I already have a 535 (their Year of the Ox model) and wanted a more conservatively styled companion for it.

My first Lamy Safari. Red with a B nib from Endless Pens. Got a great deal. (Have 3 Al Stars and a 2000)

Correction: not a piston filler, of course, although they label it as a "button piston." It appears to be some kind of vacuum filler.

I found an Osmoroid with a converter and stub nib (don’t know which one, didn’t have my readers) and a pack of Osmoroid green cartridges for $5 and a package of Pelikan 4001 green cartridges for 50¢ just now on my wanderings. My copperplate and other stub nibs fit on this pen.

There I go again, penabling. I hope you love your new 51!  I love that your new F-C pen will either be really narrow or super wide.

Cool!

80's 14k MB146, grey window, ebonite feed.  M nib which I'll probably have ground to CI.  To fit between the 2x 149s and a 2341/2.

Add lightness and simplicate.

Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. It has been 15 minutes since my last impulse buy: an old-style Pelikan M200 in blue marble, with a 14ct ST (steno) nib.

I got a Nahvalur Obsidian Pumpkin due to its incredible hammered sterling silver body.

Unfortunately it is a little too heavy for me so I'll end up selling it.

Such a pretty face though...

I always wanted a good example of the Sheaffer material that was listed in the catalog as "Blue", but most people refer to the color/pattern as "blue/black". It was only produced for about a year, and they oddly didn't make any oversize pens in this material. It is usually very discolored and dark, so when I saw this set pop up in a BIN auction, I did not hesitate.

Nice set.  If you look at it closely, you'll see that it isn't black at all, but a very dark blue.   That's why it was listed as "blue" in the catalogs, I believe.
