A Visconti Per files in maroon color with broad nib. My first Visconti, its only its way to me now.  Fingers crossed about a very snap decision purchase!

Beautiful! I’m hovering a digit over the pay now button on a Namiki chinkin crane . . .
p.s. is the body of your chinkin pine tree size 10 brass or resin? I can’t seem to find any confirmation either way.

Namiki Chinkin Pine tree was an impulse buy.  I did it twice in fact.  First time, I regretted and cancelled the order before it was shipped.  But the urge returned a few weeks later...

A beauty. I’m perilously close to buying that model in the crane design.
is the body material brass or resin, by the way?

Pilot Prera with a Cm nib.  The price was good.

Excellent choice. These are great little pens.

After some note taking I am going to buy a spare Pilot  Prera before the CM nibs are gone from that store.

Excellent idea. I wish you good luck. Alternately, you can buy a Pilot Plumix as they come with that nib.

I finally caved in and ordered a Pilot Kakuno Papa Blue F.  My undoing was the realisation that the transparency means it would look extra cool with a con-70... and I have a spare one sitting in the drawer. 💙

Will work for pens...

I read that Italix was going out of business - Mr Ford was to retire.

I have enjoyed a Parson's Essential for the past several years so I tried to get a spare. Too late, all sold out.

So I got the next pen up the price scale - a Churchman's Prescriptor.

Haven't used it yet but the section is short with a large band that might not make the pen enjoyable to use.

It's only money.

Something of an impulse buy - a Montblanc 146 LeGrand is now on its way from Dylan Stephen. I wasn't particularly looking for a Montblanc but the OB nib on this one sold it to me.

Photos attached. Have now used it. Writes smoothly and juicy. Just like the Parson's Essential.

Elevated section band and short section visible in photos.

I agree with you about the short section. It's the shortest I've ever seen.
