I'm waiting for one more impulsive buy to be delivered, then I'm going to post a few of my blue and green pens (among my favorites for aesthetics), if I can decide which topic is most suitable. Most likely I will opt for the method I use when I can't decide which pen to buy and post in both. 🤣

I’m trying not to impulsively buy a turquoise Levenger True Writer that’s on sale. It looks like a Fossil bracelet I own of reconstituted turquoise.

You're going to love it, Misfit. I bought one for my mom for what turned out to be her last birthday and liked the look of it enough to get one for myself... even though it leans toward the feminine. 

 

The color is a bit deeper than traditional, natural turquoise, but it's still a beautiful pen.

A Kaweco Sport Iridescent Pearl F (and a tiny bottle of Herbin drawing ink to get over the line for free shipping - I'm sure it will be very good since it's Herbin, here's my chance to try it with little at risk, I thought). Both marked down in the clearance outlet. There was no plan to look for anything... I was at the site to get a tracking number for a previous order*. Definitely impulsive.

 

*A Lamy Safari White with Black Clip. Not impulsive.

Truly sorry to see this and I know how you feel as I've been there before,... but look on the bright side, it could have been a lot more down the privy than $8AU. 

 

If the weather and your health permit, take a slow walk amidst some pleasant nature; the beauty of it will alleviate the anger and frustration your feeling now.

 

(That's why I moved to the country 30 years ago and have rarely regretted it).

Actually, it's not that hard... ... I've purchased Chinese pens in dealer packs in the past and the plastic is comparable to the packaging you'll find hanging on pegboards at Krogers or Walmart. You know, the type you can cut open with a good pair of scissors.

The pen I ordered on Monday arrived today. It’s the Levenger True Writer in Turquoise.  Now which turquoise ink for it?  I have several inks in that color. Those include Diamine Turquoise, Visconti Turquoise, Waterman South Sea Blue, Pelikan Edelstein Topaz, Rohrer & Klingner Blu Mare, and I might be forgetting others.

I just bought a Sheaffer Targa GT in matte black.  I had one like it in junior high that my sister broke. I had been looking for one that wasn’t too expensive and finally got a reasonable offer from a seller. It has a monogram, but I don’t mind them.
