I had posted on Friday that I had made my (hopefully) last purchase of the year, a plain black PG Slim with Rhodium trim (M) that I'd been putting in/taking out of my Amazon cart for a couple weeks. Felt safe as it was the 30th by then but, noooooo, Anderson vintage pens mailer came Saturday so I have a Turquoise P45 steel F on the way; also a P21 mechanical pencil. And a sample of Diplomat Orchid and a bottle of Bungbox Tsuyuhikari, will probably try that in the black Slim. I'd been hankering after that forever and it was in the Clearance section so I finally went for it.

Normally I would have thought that the gold cap and piston knob were a little much (I'm not much for "bling-y" pens, in general), but in this case they work very well with the color of the binde.

@Tashi_TseringLovely Pelikan 500, they are perhaps my favorite pen. So beautiful and with a wonderful bouncy nib. I have the matching pencil too although I hardly ever use it.

Now that pen looks elegant to me. It's one of the few Pelikans that I will actively be looking to buy.
