I posted this the other day in the (dedicated) Leonardo thread, but this was very much impulsive. And quick response was the order of the day, as there were only 180 made and they went quickly. Leonardo x Stilo & Silte Momento Zero "Cometa". This pen features their new in-house design nib, La Fenice.

Thank you for the added information.

It looked similar to a 3V that I had a while back and there was no view of the top of the cap.

Ooh, that Conway Stewart sure is pretty!

An Omas DS, just because it has an interesting-looking nib. Now I just have to hope it gets over from France through the insanity that is Royal Mail over the Christmas period.

It's a prototype, so not really sure of the model.  It's stamped as PR 5.

I don't know what the emoji for a green-eyed monster would be, but you can imagine one here!  What kind of nib is in it?

Leonardo has been making one-off pens in a variety of amazing ebonites. I have missed some I loved by resisting my impulses and then lamented my self-control. So, this is on the way to me from Firenze:

Wow.  That's EBONITE?  OOOOOH.  I wish I had more ebonite pens because I like the warmth of them.

Afraid to ask the price though -- especially for "one-offs"....

Well, Ruth, I would say that this pen was not inexpensive, but I would also say it was much less than I expected for an oversize, one-off, piston filling, ebonite pen with a gold nib.

Well, I'll console myself with the fact that you said it was an oversize pen.... Because even the Noodler's Neponsets are too big for my hand (oh I wish that they'd make more of the Konrads in the really awesome ebonite colors that the Neponsets come in....

I don’t know if it was totally impulsive, a bit I guess. I wanted a urushi pen. I was pointed to a few places and decided on this. It’s from Tamenuri Studio. Phenomenal service from Michal and a beautiful pen.

I ordered one of these Conway Stewart Collectors Bracken | Conway Stewart

The first (and only at those prices) Conway Stewart for my collection.

I went for a broad nib. I already have enough medium nibs, and I'm finding I can't read fine lines without my reading glasses these days.

It hasn't arrived yet (it probably won't until January).

That's a very handsome pen. I've always loved the materials their pens are made from, and I really like the long section, very reminiscent of Aurora sections. Looking forward to photos!

My Christmas gift: Aurora Papa, model #934 (Limited Edition). Very nicely made but little bit short for my taste pen. And too expensive.
