Ooo…I was just looking at that pen recently. As I don’t have any more money for pens right now, my acquisition of it will have to wait a while.

It's nice.   Smaller than the Omar but comfortable.  Worth saving up for.

It's on the pen in the pictures.

That's a Lamy Z55 nib. I'm surprised whoever replaced the original Z52 nib didn't choose a black-gold bicolour Z57 gold nib instead.

I just won with a last half hour bid on a Lamy Studio Lx All Black with a fine gold nib. I was only there having a look and then thought for sure it would be sniped. Definitely  impulsive...

I'm not sure about the Gold nib, but I already have a Lx Ruthenium with the stock black nib so can swap and make the Black all black.

Gold one is wetter. It might prove useful. Anyway, wonderful as always...

Astonishing! I'd planned ("planned") to buy zero pens this year. But it wasn't a resolution, so no harm, no foul.

They are nice little thingies, aren´t they? 😂

Currently I have inked up my new Supra Fireblue, also having a go at the short version.

I'm having a Goldilocks situation with Kaweco. The Liliput is too small and too thin (the ballpoint is cute and best for the quick scribble). The AL Sport, which I really like the look of, actually...now it's all good. I guess it took a little time getting used to its weight and shape posted. The Special -- I don't know. It is a special pen, a bittersweet memento. Maybe I'll try it again, like the Sport, or sell it along with the Liliputs. Even the plastic Sport ballpoint surprised me with its girth. A light enough pen, but I thought the barrel's circumference would be slimmer, like the AL Sport's barrel.

So far I'm enjoying the heck out of the Supra. It's goofy how heavy it is, but I used it the first day with the extension, cos long cartridge. No complaints, but if I wanted to post the cap, it'd be ridiculous.

Without the extension, I'm finding the Supra comfortable both cap posted and unposted.

The deciding factor is that I can use a Pilot #10 nib and feed in a compatible Flexible Nib Factory housing, but I'm enjoying this steel nib too much for now.

Is this the Goldilocks Kaweco for me? Well, that AL Sport has surprised me and continues to be inked, haha.

How do you like yours?

ETA: I really like the Kaweco steel nibs! EF & F.

I like my Supra a lot. For the short scribble unposted works well enough (I usually hate posting pens and won´t do it, except those that are clearly supposed to be, like the Pilot Myu 701 or the Kaweco Liliput/Supra short version) and posted it has a comfortable length. It´s true, the Supra is a very slim pen and although I have a tendency to like pens with more girth (like the Pelikan M800 pens) it feels very nice in my hand. I also like the weight. Everonye is surprised how heavy this tiny little thingy is.

The nib... well... I am very much used to Pelikans and I like broad nibs. So I ordered a broad nib for my Kaweco - only to find out it will write like a Pelikan F. 😆 Guess I´ll just live with that. And it´s a nice nib all by itself.

The Fireblue colour makes people go Ahhhh... and Ohhhhh... and I particularly chose it because a) I like it and b) it reminds me of my motorcycle´s exhaust manifold. 😁

Summed up in one sentence: I´m happy with my Kaweco Supra Fireblue.

Arrived this morning (don't like the new 2nd class post from Cult!). Apologies for slightly pale picture - stuck with artificial light today.

I had this surprising experience with my Supra as well. Once I got used to the weight, the writing experience was surprisingly satisfying.

I find the Supra (mine is brass) much too short unposted without the extension, but posted without or unposted with, it works very well for me. I tend to use it with the extension, as I like to use a full-size converter.

I think Kaweco uses JoWo nibs, which are, for my writing, excellent nibs.

Most people who try it tell me they think it is too heavy. Those who used it for a while came to the conclusion that the weight is not so bad.

You could buy a plain stainless steel one and experiment with strapping it to the exhaust manifold of your bike to create you own "Fireblue" pattern... 😛

I concur with both posts above, I just wish Kaweco would make a Supra in copper. Copper requires a bit more care to machine than brass or stainless, but they already make the Liliput in copper, so I am sure they know how... :)

I've been enjoying and content with the couple of Esterbrook SJ pens and nibs I have, but suddenly got an urge to add another. So now I have my first desk pen (one of the eight-ball ones). I like how it looks on my desk! Also my first time trying the 9460 nib, and I'm happy with it.

About 10 or 12 Penbbs Jinhao and Moonmans on EBay Etsy and Aliexpress. And dozens of nibs and converters.

To play with, tune nibs, give to friends, or throw away.

PenBbs makes good pens.

Grok you on posting. I re-installed the extension last night, since I'm apparently a fussbudget when it comes to screwing on the cap to post (too many turns -- first to take the cap off, then to post it!)

Looks like you can buy a Bock 250 nib for yours if you find the B much too F. Or smash your nib a little bit. Hahaha, but gently.

No, I don't mean it. Just drop it a little bit from not too high.

And then buy a replacement nib.

Also, don't listen to me.

My Goldilocks experience has been with Kaweco overall. Seems that the AL Sport hits the Momma-Bear spot with the Supra vying for its place.

While I didn't find the Supra too short to write with unposted as the shorter pen, I did put the extender back in last night, cos longer cartridge = more ink.

I had read conflicting information about whether Kaweco uses Bock or Jowo for its Supra, so I asked Google just now and found this:

Answer: Bock. I have a Flexible Nib Housing in Jowo #6 and Bock 250 for PIlot #10 nibs, so I'm covered should I want to use a Pilot PO nib in my Supra. (Note to sell, oops, self: Maybe buy a couple more of these housings.)

Yeah, I like my Supra, too. I was concerned that I wouldn't like it so much once it was in my hands, but it's a cool pen. I'd be interested in seeing it in raw aluminum.

Ranga Zayante Z2 from Peyton Street Pens. It's my birthday in about a week, so planned? Not really. The last couple of years, it's been paper, ink, whatever. This year a pen from PSP, a bottle of ink and some paper from Vanness.

I came close several times before in the past year to ordering this, and finally pulled the trigger a couple of hours ago.

Looks quite nice. Is it silver or chrome. Platinum makes some very nice looking pens. Enjoy your pen and writing experience.

Thanks for sharing.
