That is gorgeous. I always wanted a car in British racing green but so far have not had one.

My current car is Metalic BRG.  I get compliments about the colour all the time.

Sheaffer 100 Coffee edition bought on a whim came in today. Very pleased! Credit of photo to Pen Hero who was the supplier of this beautiful pen!
Sheaffer 100 Coffee Edition Matte Brown Fountain Pen w/Regal Brown Trim Medium - Picture 3 of 6

Much as I love black pens and demonstrators, that's a gorgeous brown!  And yeah, it pretty well covers coffee from 'black' to 'Snow White and seven cubes'.  :)

Any pics of the nib?

A Paul Smith (made by Cross, I believe) with a brilliant lacquer finish and an 18K F nib. I like several design touches: the longitudinal trim, the twisted clip, the sterling textured grip section.

That's indeed a very elegant pen! Doesn't Paul Smith have a collaboration with Caran d'Ache currently?*

*hmm... only ballpoints that I can see.

Now I have to wait until October.   I just pre-ordered this, a collaboration of Onoto and FPUK:

FPUK X Onoto Scholar Ceramic - Racing Green - Luxury, Handcrafted, British Fountain Pens | Onoto  (USD price)

Don't make me do it! I can't afford it anymore :crybaby:

[although I'm partial to the Magna Classic series more so than the Scholar, plus it's become an impossible proposition -financially speaking- to buy those directly from the UK. "New" Onoto doesn't seem to have any distributor in EU countries, unlike Bespoke British Pens, i.e. "new" Conway Stewart.]

My year end bonus hit today, part got spent on a new pen. A UK Slimfold (aerometric) Broad nib.

I was going to look at the Levenger website to contact them. But the first thing I saw was buy one pen, get one free. I clicked on shop, and added the Larimar Blue with M nib, and the Sapphire Mosaic with M nib to the cart. And well, chose PayPal. It indicated it was returning for review, but it was actually submitting the order.

I did go back to the website to use the contact to ask a question.

Yesterday I received an Asvine V200 with a B Bock nib.

It writes beautifully and holds a LOT of ink!

They make nice pens - imo.

They are no longer offering the 2 for 1 pens deal. Just 20% off everything and some 2025 Circa calendars for 75% off.

Bit of a bummer as I probably would have jumped for at least two pens I have been watching for a while.

@Gloucesterman wow, they used to offer 2 for 1 deals?! That would have been a dream to redeem. I’m doing my best to avoid paying full price for current True Writer fountain pens.

A Lamy Studio Imperial Blue with an EF nib. One of those has been lurking on my wish list for a while and out of the blue an Amazon bargain popped up... too good to pass up.

Will work for pens...

After losing out on a Pelikan 140 in Burgundy because I didn't read the Valentina's newsletter when it arrived, I opened the new one right away. Only one Pelikan this time - grey-striped 400, circa '50-'56, "very rare color, very collectible" with "old style" Pelikan graphics on nib (M). At first glance, in the photos it looks like the usual green-striped but looking closer you can see that it is different; will probably be more obvious in person.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

An early Platinum President. 71'ish. It's a 14k version and whereas I've found a fair amount of info on the 18k version, I've found very little about this one.

Another Yahoo!Japan set of pens.  I am a sucker for these overly large sets of the same pens...10 Plaisirs & 8 Kakunos: $71.
