Hi All

just got this waterman fountain pen. (See photos)

1. Nib reads Waterman Ideal paris 18k 750 france

2.Cap reads waterman made in france and seems to be a waterman logo

3. flat top of cap has the black and waterman logo

4. Pen is 18k gold plated

5. Nib has an L (assume for large stroke)

6. Cap pocket nib/holder has a waterman logo on it it seems.

7. uses catridges as per link : http://www.takealot.com/waterman-standard-cartridges-black-box-of-8/PLID28027477

Also is it the correct catridges to use in the link? http://www.takealot.com/waterman-standard-cartridges-black-box-of-8/PLID28027477

I struggled to find a gold plated waterman looking exactly the same on the net. Mosts waterman pocket clip? looks different

Thank you

The tines are too far apart and thus the iridium tips are not together (touching)

Thank you and how does one fix it?

The nib will have to be removed from the section, the tines closed and the tip reset. Closing tines is not an easy job for the uninitiated so I suggest you Google for a pen nibsmith in your country. Read their reviews and let them do this task.
