Paul Wirt Eyedropper, Taper Cap

In a previous thread, the group showed a lot of evidence that my Wirt half overlay might be an Aiken Lambert with a Wirt nib and feed.

I just found a Wirt MHR taper cap eyedropper with Wirt two line imprint on the barrel (too hard for me to get a good pic of the imprint). It has an incorrect nib and feed.

So, assuming they are a good fit, might I be better off putting he Wirt nib and feed in the barrel with the Wirt imprint, and leaving the possible Aiken Lambert to be a somewhat no name taper cap half overlay pen?

MInor quirk on the imprint. I am not sure what it might mean.

PAUL E. WIRT 7 FOUNTAIN PEN

PAT'D JUNE 27, 1882 (probably more after that, but worn down)

The tiny "7" is intentional - it looks just like that
